Why Theia at a price point of $1000+ is not cost effective.

Do you think misleading your clientele any lying to them about release, is a winning proposition?

And oh please, you aren't changing anything. Go ahead, add $50 and price it at $949. Watch your sales plummet. Or go ahead and subtract $50 and price it at $850. That would be smarter, but won't happen.
Your knowledge of Radenso's inner workings are impressive. Did you plant a RAT in their server? Alongside the nannycam of course.

Best Buy had product listed with price. It was caught. You noticed. Best Buy takes down page within minutes. Yeah, total mistake. Placeholder. Stop lying about stuff. You think Escort really gives a crud what you price it at? You give yourself too much credit for thinking you are going to crush them in marketshare. You're like the coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, withholding information about what QB you're going to start against Kansas City. KC doesn't care. Escort and Uniden don't care either. Just stop lying and try to act professional.

There's that. $900 would make it the most expensive WS RD. This could be a tough sell with R360c being only $800 with tax aaaaand coming with the legendary EscortLive.

There I fixed it for you! ;)

But in all seriousness, If Escort keeps the RL360c at $750 and is the false alert maker it is, Theia would be a bargain at $995.95 with ZERO BSM and basically minimum false alerts IE it should basically only alert to real radar sources instead of anything within the bandpass as current frequency based faux Radar Detectors do. I much prefer to drive and only drop anchor to real threats versus looking at band, ramp up, and frequency to figure out how urgent the Alert is.

Of course some of this is my driving style for depending on how quickly I am traveling. At certain speeds in certain zones, I am in drop anchor mode for any and all alerts as I like keeping my DL plus low insurance rates.

All true. There is nothing available today that provides adequate protection on that special band. If it's sensitive and reactive enough to give long range IO warning you'll ignore the noise once too often and pay. Or you'll be endlessly at PSL. My G2 seems fine for CO but I've seen some close calls with that right here at RDF. May Theia liberate my lead foot.

That is so untrue. You getting caught going 15 over the limit isn't $1K+ Get ahold of yourself.
If one is only driving 15 over, one probably doesn't even need an RD unless one also shouldn't have a DL either! Of course I have seen people with RDs pulled over before because they don't understand traffic enforcement nor do they have any common sense. I have never had any 15 over tickets nor anything under 21 over for that matter, not one! Knock on wood, I haven't had a ticket I had to pay since the 90's and thank the stars there was none of this super speeder crap back then or I probably would still not have my DL back.

But back to the point of Theia, its not the ticket that is the reason to own Theia, it is the 3 to 5 years of higher insurance rates that make Theia well worth it for the heavy footed driver, or just even the driver that wants to save on pads and rotors from false alerts!!

Well let us not get to ahead of ourselves. Even with IOscout, moving mode I/O is still the biggest threat to heavy footed drivers and in my opinion even without seeing Theia is action, I believe NOTHING can save any driver from a one on one moving 35.5 Ka Band I/O encounter with no other traffic on the highway! IE, the driver is the first thing the LEO triggered in the last 15 minutes.

I find myself in that situation all too often here in rural Alabama. Sad!

This is true of any IO encounter where you're the first target in 15 minutes. Better hope he's on Waze or EL!
But I've seen plenty sloppy stuff that a Theia with the range of V1G1 on that band would knock off. But current RDs might either not warn at all due to delays or be ignored because of the noise. Think R7 wide open.

And damn the price of rotors and pads.

And an immature, childish, unprofessional response such as this is exactly why I hope you fail. And fail miserably.. Wouldn't give you a freaking penny. Your product will come, as quickly as it will go. In the name of Kevin O'Leary, Escort will crush you like the cockroach you are.

Taking away the loaded question and rewording it to be "So has Best Buy ever put up placeholders for any other product before?". The answer is yes.

The placeholder for the Escort Max 3 auto published early this past year as well as well due to human error. Their CMS will publish content when a date that was configured is reached. Sometimes that date comes but the product isn't ready, yet the CMS still publishes it. It's a human error. Someone forgot to go update the product entry in their CMS, so it got published on whatever date had been left in there prior.

With losing good driving credits on insurance One ticket can cost $2k in total. Easy. And let’s not get into the cost of one ticket if it’s the 2nd or 3rd. Or you recently had an accident. Or you have an accident after your first ticket.

Bottom line is you want to keep a clean record.
