I have a oppt to buy a year old ALP 5 head system with NetRadar. I currently run a 360C. Newbie here, how does the NetRadar stack up to the 360C?
I have a Radenso/ALP set up going into one car. Would like to save a little on 2nd car protection. Could run both NetRadar and Escort but kind of defeats the purpose of a built in system (wish I could see the classifieds here!)

If you're talking about the Max 360c, the NetRadar will offer a little more range. If you mean the Redline 360c, the two will be close, with a slight advantage to the Redline.

There are two versions of the Netradar antennas, the original Netradar and the Netradar DSP, if you are saying 5 years old, the it's likely the original netradar. If it's the original Netradar it will have similar range to the Max360C, If it's the Netradar DSP then it will have range closer to the redline 360C. You can always upgrade the antenna down the line if its the original and you want the extra range, there are a few in the for sale area here that you will have access to at 50 posts.

Thanks for all the input! The system I found is 2 yrs old (2018). I have a great shop in Chicago doing custom install in both the Rover and 911
The Radenso is going in Rover. Installer is splitting display and doing kill/power buttons in center console. Display in line of sight

for the Porsche, with the ALP/NR I am concerned that there is no display Don't want to run BT for display. Great deal on system but lack of display is giving me pause
Post automatically merged:

I really need the best possible system in 911 as that car has greatest potential to cost me $$$$ should things go sideways

The best option would be to get a cheap phone that you can mount full time in the car to act as your display/control for the ALP. Alternately look at the radenso RCM, it integrates with ALP and the radenso RCM has a nice display/controller, range is very good and filtering is top notch

The RCM is being installed in Rover. Was hoping to not spend another 5K on the 911, hence looking at used ALP/NG. Guessing the FS section here does not have any RCM's ...

The NRDSP vs RCM have there place. NRDSP in past testing has better'd the RCM in "select" areas. If not MRCD, the NRDSP is the better choice... as I do not have MRCD nor the RCM.

From my world the NRDSP has provided enough time to react too, vs other units. It betters the DFR9/8 and just under the R3/1.... why, as the NRDSP is said to be based off the R series... Heat. It is an exterior unit that has to deal with temps.... what better to keep that beast tamed, but to setback some. I, thus far trust the NRDSP.... but only... yes only with a decided HiFi or Bluetooth only decided Android.... anything more on that BT or on throughput, can slow that Audio to Visual... said and seen near 1.5secs.

You need to use BT with a phone with NR to have lockouts if I recall correctly.
