Always thought that this is what they should've done with Escort Live, made deals with the car mfgs to get the RD built in as an option.

So BMW has partnered with Cedar to integrate Escort Live into their navigation systems? Perhaps this will push Cedar into solving the numerous issues we've read about from EL users.

Keep it in the high end manufacturer's niche market
Paid subscription/little literature when purchasing the car/bundled into another service etc

The last thing we need is this streamlined into Toyota's or Chevys and it will be demonized faster then the opioid epidemic

I can see the bandwagon headlines from half baked ratings based local news agencies

"You're new car MAY be helping you speed"

"BMW announced today that their new driver convenience technology package will allow it's buyers to defeat speed traps"

"Death on the road"
"How one conglomerate electronics company took a household name and used it for profit sparking global traffic deaths and outrage from relatives of dead victims"

You get the picture
