Remember the RDD Video by Jon and Rob:

Radenso Theia vs Radar Detector Detectors - How Theia Wins Against Spectre Elite and VG2

The Spectre RDDs are specially tuned for a particular State or Highway Patrol. The K-band moving Radar frequency is "notched out" in the detection scheme. At least I seem to recall something like that when watching the Video some weeks ago.
watched it a while ago

but if no one is there to callibrate RDDs then what ?

Okay... you're right. WAPOL will not be happy.

Here's what's quoted ;

Stalker Radar said:
• Compatible with all standard X, K, and Ka-Band police traffic radar systems
• Will not detect satellite radios, and anti-collision systems such as Distronic™ found in the USA, Canada, and Europe

The Stalker USA webpage for Spectre is no longer up, but you can get the Google cache of the page (attached pdf)

Going by revenue raisers group... looks like some over enthusiastic HWPs are extra keen on hawk eyeing detectors, must grab those sweet easy $1.2k quotas? Lol

Still no mention of Spectres been used.

problom is most of them on these revenue groups dont even know the difference between radar and laser and if you want to confuse them more call it lidar

you can only imagine what goes on on some of these pee stop locations

trust me in these areas never let your kids out of sight at all times ..to many trucks buses 4wds bikes and cars coming and going at once

the cops patrolling the car park area as you mentioned is normal routine check and to be honest its not a bad thing
