Hey guys, Long time I haven't post. I have been very busy for the past year with new baby and new projects.

I hope everyone is doing good and everyone is safe!

I actually bought a new Mini Cooper GP, a track focus car haha. It is a limited edition.

I was thinking on maybe installing an ALP system on it.

Not sure if I should go 2RX + TX or 3 RX or any other recommendation since the car is super small.

Well the three RX would probably do well on that car, three in a row straight across in the red, you could also do the tx as well in the red as long as you have enough height.

Nice car. I've always liked the GP and you rarely see one on the road. One of the car magazines recently did a test with the upcoming GP model and wasn't too impressed. Personally, I like each of the different ones that Mini made. Enjoy it!

Yeah, we were doing good for few months, everything was open but now cases of Covid went from 100 per day to 1100. Now the Government started to close restaurants and bars again.
Hopefully, it will get better.

I measure the front of the car, it is totally about 65 inches and the grill is like 35 inches wide. Not sure how I am gonna fit 3 sensors is so little space. Do I really need it for such little space?

If you are facing dragoneye a lot you will want three sensors, there are a few varients that really need three sensors to jam up close. 12 inches between sensors isn't that bad, that's about what mine are spaced on my car. If you aren't facing dragoneye then 2 would be fine.

3RX it is, don't think I need a TX in such small space. I think 3RX will do a much better job and save some $$$. @Eloi 's 3RX jams DE better then me 2RX+1TX (prob placement). I feel having a TX is so delicate when it comes to placements.

I went for the 2RX + TX setup. The difference is $100, not worth to go with 3RX. Now it is a must to have GPS cuz HW4

I think this will be the best placement. The TX (red) will be at 25 inches from the floor

Hey guys,

I just wanted to update this thread.

I finished the installation of this car and let me tell you, IT IS AWESOME!!!!

It is super clean and honestly it looks stock!! Like it came with the car haha!

After testing with DETC every single spot on the car, I am JTG until Zero Feet!

It is amazing how easy is to protect a small car.
