My RL360c stops receiving weekly database update

I called CS early this morning waited for about 35 minutes on the phone and spoke with a male CS representative. I told him I have an online promotion code for the 3 year defender database service that I forgot to add with purchase of RL360c radar detector back in June, I want to add it now. I did select "trade-in" service on the order. After gave him order number. The guy said he cannot do it on that order. He told me the order was only for purchase RL360c detector itself. The only thing if I want 3 year defender database is to purchase it right now for $49.95, then they will send a code to activate the service. That kind of feeling disappointed.

Unfortunately, they were very specific that you could take advantage of only one offer. The promo code for the three year defender data or a trade in. But it was worth a try.

Well I went to update today from. My laptop and it said already updated as of Sept 21 2020. Looks like no update for this Monday. Must be up to speed.
I have not had a defender data update for the past two weeks. Checking my subscription, I'm good till 2026. Thinking that something may bee wrong I deleted the software from my phone & computer and reinstalled it. When I run the Escort updat software on my computer the firmware update icon is green but the data icon is greyed out and will not work. I can't remember this ever happening before, the only thing I can think of is there are no defender updates right now. But I don't know if that's the reason why it's not updating. Does anyone else know of this issue??

You may be confusing defender database and escort live subscription. These are two separate things. When you buy the RD new Escort gives you defender database for free for 3 months but then you have to buy it. But if you run escort live on your phone and connect to your RD then you don't need defender database updates as escort live has latest defender database speed and red-light cameras included in it and will seamlessly announce these cameras through your RD. Therefore you only need defender database updates if you plan on not running escort live with your RD. Hope that makes sense.

Maybe your defender database subscription ran out? If you don't run a smartphone and escort live then you can always purchase a 3 year subscription and it will continue to auto update via wifi every week. But for me, when I run my Max II I just keep escort live on and get the most up-to-date camera info for free.

Recently I notice my RL360c is no longer receive weekly speed and ewred light camera update since Monday last week. No matter I try Wi-Fi in my car or detector tool pro on my computer. The database update option on the detector tool pro just grey out when I plug it on my computer. Is escort stops issuing weekly database update? is there anyone have experience same issues?
Yes and my subscription is good till 2025. No update for the last two weeks. All of my Escort WiFi detectors for the last few years have always updated themselves with no problem. I see a few people are reporting the same thing, I hope this is not another Escort software flaw.

Call right at or as close to 0900 as possible (i.e., when they first open) to get into their calling queue early.

I have sent them an e mail describing the problem. I will give them a day or so to respond. On Escort Form others are starting to report this problem.

Yes, I was on Escort Form and talking to one of the Escort people and he told me to call them on Monday. My subscription is good till 2026 so that's not the problem. Now the Red Line will not connect to the WiFi in my car. This detector was working just fine till about two weeks ago when it stopped receiving data updates. Others are also reporting this problem.
