Genevo mentions this on their forum: (link)

GENEVO PRO and GENEVO PRO DUO FIRMWARE UPDATE
  • Eliminated 99% of false alarms caused by anti-collision or blind spot systems
  • KA band detection distance increase
  • Increase detection distance Multaradar CD
  • Added "GPS Connected" voice
  • Multaradar CD ON / OFF configuration, eliminated "Narrow" and "Wide" modes

Question: Will this new algorithm also be made available to the Radenso Pro M ?

Seems there is a new algorithm available for Multaradar CD/CT detection,
which is implemented in Genevo detectors.

The promise is a significant improvement in detection range and a significant decrease in false alerts.
So that sounds interesting.

Question: Will this also be implemented on the Radenso platform ?

BTW:
My previous post about this got removed - I don't if this was a bug, or is it not allowed to post about this? If so, why not ?

Jon has said it’s up to the manufacturer to add and push those updates, they don’t have much say in it on some matters. I would think if the Genevo version of the ProM got it, the Radenso one will as well. 🤞

The Radenso brand is sold in the United States, and Genevo is sold in Europe, and the firmware will not be the same. Pro M's firmware will be updated slower than One M.

ok, I totally understand there are technical and commercial reasons for this difference in approach between Europe and US. Super nice to hear these improvements might come to radenso too: long term support for this platform is quite solid compared to other hardware !

I don't think its up to Radenso, I think the Korean factory controls when they want to write the firmware or not, it kind of sucks that Radenso is at the mercy of the factories for software updates for the pro m. Maybe one day they will get the code and be allowed to develop firmware in house for their legacy detectors.
