Just not seeing that on mine after upgrading (to 1.4) weeks ago....By far the quietest detector of all of mine.....Quieter than V1G2, Max Ci 360, Max 360, R7 all updated to latest firmwares...

sorry to hear that. MyRL360c is by far the quietest detector I've ever owned. Only one false K alert at a know spot near the Ace Hardware and Liquor stores. Drove by them once 2 weeks ago and again today not a peep after the original Alert there 3 weeks ago. Not a false alert since then. Pulled up to a 4 way light and it was yellow was gonna drop shift and gun it, then the black explorer SUV Duluth cop pulled up. She usually uses KA band I/O but not today. So I slowed to a stop so as not to give attention to myself. I know I'm a chicken, but awareness is one of my CMs these days. I usually only get out on the weekends but wanted to get out today, the sun is shinning , only 85 degrees, just couldn't pass up a chance to get out. It was fun.
The last 3 days I've been running the Red Line 360c in AutoLoK and I have NOT had any false K alerts. Of course the K band sensitivity is down to about 30% so I have to be careful. In NJ they use K band about 40% of the time. I'm now going to put it back to Auto and see the difference. The filtering is less in 1.4 on K band than 1.3 but the arrows are now quick and accurate.

I'm not having any issues with 1.4 either. I just took a 60 mile trip and not one BSM false. Over the past couple of weeks I have hunted out the hondas/acuras. With K Notch OFF it will alert. With it ON, nothing but golden silence.
If I were you guys, the ones with excessive falsing, I would return it and get a new one. There's no way it should be falsing worse than a max360. Mine is night and day quieter and that is on HIGHWAY with TSR OFF. I just run KNotch.

I don't think that tester is available any longer.I have a car that falses like crazy to laser with my Valentine 1 Gen 2 (so often I was going to have to turn laser off or use the sticker trick someone used). The original Redline O also falses to laser in my car but less).
My Redline 360c both with firmware rev. 1.3 (5 drives including one long one) and now also during one drive so far with 1.4 I is not falsing to laser at all.
Now, given this,, I am curious how well the R360c actually detects laser!
I have a tester (from Laser Interceptor), but that is more just to tell if the detector can detect the various pulse rates, not the same as testing its real world capability against an actual long distance beam.
Will at least run the key FOB laser tester against it to see...
