I would apply it again, just to make sure. Maybe use the "Update All" option under the tab.

Ok did that and it said update failed, but Master Version 1.4 so IDK. It did the same thing with 1.3. I have laster version of DTP and a good quality cable.

Just to be clear, the correct menu choice for this view is "SpecDisplay"?

It is definitely good to see Escort already coming out with a second firmware update since the rough start with firmware 1.2.
I hope that firmware 1.4 builds on what firmware 1.3 brought to the table. Hopefully the RL360c will continue to move in the right direction with firmware 1.4 with even more refinements and improvements.

Its always great to see manufacturers listening to the enthusiasts and fixing small stuff as well as big stuff.
Whether it is from escort, VR, uniden, etc. It is awesome to see it and definitely helps the community feel involved and cared for!

Thank you for the update. I totally love the SpecDisplay. The ramp up and arrows were spot on. Fantastic range compared to my EX that I just sent back on the trade-in program. I’m totally impressed. I’m going on a cross country jaunt next weekend, and this release was right on time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am still getting a little Ghosting, this morning in a 200 mile drive I had 2 LEOs with Both Antennas working and the R360C showed 3 signals on both when I was close.
I am totally impressed after update V1.3 and v1.4. My detector performs flawless now, no more ramp issues, arrow flips instantly as it passes the source. MRCD/CT detection works really good. It still has minor issues for "overspeed warning" despite i set off both cruise control and speed limit off in the app. Hope Escort can resolve this issues in the next update. Other than this issue the device is now performing nearly perfect. I really enjoy my RL360c right now!
I also don't see much change with the Ramp up on this version. The R360c is full tilt while the V1 may have 1-2 bars in the same encounter.
I got some great detections today with the R360c, in the mountains I had one alert just over 2 miles - and then the rear for a mile. Weather was cooler with no humidity in the 50s.

I found out there is 2 places on app to shut off over limit
I have done a little more than 100 miles trip today with 1.4 firmware, consisted of both highway and local roads. I have noticed there is still multiple sources indicated with strong K signal. It went full tilt alert and displayed as 2 counts in low speed at local area.

Dear lord. Since the update my car has been setting off the laser warning every few minutes. Help!
This never happened with my v1g1 or R7. I sold my v1g2 since it had the same issue but it was non stop.
Any thoughts or ideas?
2018 BMW i3 / zero issues
2019 BMW i8 coupe / laser goes off often and for no reason
2019 BMW i8 roadster / laser goes off often and for no reason
One more data point, the laser has even gone off when I first sit in the car without the accessories or motor on.

Part of the search might be placement relative to your gesture sensors and the display.

I uploaded to 1.4 late last nite. Due to the fires in my local area I stuck close to home until late this eve. Headed out for a quick hop over 17 into Mt View and then back home. 76 miles total. Got 1 long range CHP 34.7 boggie. Over 1.50 min passed before I could see flashing lights way up the road 2 CHP had pulled over a single car. This 1.4 update seems to have smoothed out and corrected a lot of the remaining faults that held over during the 1.3 period. I am very happy with my unit.

Had a good conversation with Joe at Escort and he said that my iPhone could be triggering it.
But I also tried mounting it underneath the rear view mirror and so far, I've had zero falses.
I have a car that falses like crazy to laser with my Valentine 1 Gen 2 (so often I was going to have to turn laser off or use the sticker trick someone used). The original Redline O also falses to laser in my car but less).
My Redline 360c both with firmware rev. 1.3 (5 drives including one long one) and now also during one drive so far with 1.4 I is not falsing to laser at all.
Now, given this,, I am curious how well the R360c actually detects laser!
I have a tester (from Laser Interceptor), but that is more just to tell if the detector can detect the various pulse rates, not the same as testing its real world capability against an actual long distance beam.
Will at least run the key FOB laser tester against it to see...
