What’s New in Firmware v1.4

Enhancements:

• Arrow response time improved
• Improved signal processing on all bands. For situations where a single strong signal was showing up as multiple signals.
• Spec meter available

How to Get the Update

If you are taking advantage of the Wi-Fi connection in your vehicle or have access

to Wi-Fi, you will be prompted for the update once it becomes available. If you are

not able to access Wi-Fi, you can connect your Redline 360c to your computer via

USB (https://www.escortradar.com/pages/update-your-device). There are two

different links on the page depending on if you are using Windows or Mac OS.

Thanks for this update! I'm happy to see the arrows now show up instantly on screen. It's also great having the overdriving issues at close range addressed and to have the new SpecDisplay option. Showing just the single strength meter does make it easier to get the info we need at a glance, especially with the arrows already there to show direction.

I've verified this at least on one trip. A stalker dual is reporting the expected 2 signals whereas before it would show 3-4 on my unit.

I've verified the instant arrows and spec display. I haven't verified the overdriving issue since that'd require me to go back out and set up a test course. Testing a point blank range at home often overdrives lots of detectors so that's not the best way to test.

Agreed. This is one of the things that made the R3 especially exciting when it first came out and I'm glad Escort is staying on top of updates here as well, especially since they're responding specifically to things we're seeing in testing and out on the road.

It's great to see them taking advantage of this resource. They're listening to serious and knowledgeable customers and the R360c is getting better for it. This V1 guy welcomes the success of others. Better CMs is a win for all of us with no downside. OK, well maybe my wallet getting lighter- I want to try this R360c!

See the picture above, it is another display mode that shows the freq readout, but with the full strength meter found in the "Standard" display mode.
