i'm not really planning on doing this but i was curious. Could you run one escort detector and pair it with 2 zw5 systems? Like if you wanted two heads up front and two heads in the rear? Im guessing that the detector is only designed to pair with one zw5 system at a time.

I don’t believe so. You can run 2 heads F/R, but that kinda defeats the purpose of not having to go through the firewall. The RD/bridge box is hard coded for ports 3-4 to indicate as rear from what I have been told.

I thought the zw5 didn’t support additional heads on ports 3/4? Has this changed? I thought only the zr5 could have 4 heads.

I did but it’s a fairly low install, I’m planning on testing this weekend to see if I need to move my heads up and turn them vertical. It was either low and horizontal or correct location but with the heads turned vertical.

My TMJs are low and horizontal. Worked well when I had them tested last year at the South Florida meet up (exception being DE)

Heres the result, although it is a stock photo. https://www.rdforum.org/threads/91711/

I’ve done a few preliminary runs against my laser ally with eccm off and they seem to be doing good so far but all I’ve managed is a few runs that were about 300’ and 3-4 seconds each. I’m planning to test on a longer road where I can steady the gun on something This weekend.
