Just ordered 4 head front ALP system.
2 RX, 2 TX with Hi-Fi and GPS package
Bluetooth module
Laser tester.

Looking forward to receiving it later in the week from KMPH Vancouver.

Splitter for TX and Blue and Green labelled TX included.

I will put it on my travel plans to visit Vancouver and Edmonton to accidentally bump into members with Dragon Eyes for testing.
If the 2nd TX is not required for full coverage on my truck then it can be used on the future rear or motorcycle system.
I'll have some technical questions during set-up regarding the angles when my truck has considerable weight in the back, raising the nose and lowering the rear.

Welcome to the club!

We would happily test your install in Vancouver when you come out. I can model in CAD and 3d print anything you may need. Just ask

I definitely will plan to get down there.
Thanks for the offer, I will discover much during install I'm sure.
If my machinist skills aren't up to the task that sounds pretty cool!

Welcome to the institution. ;). By the time you purchase Laser Jammers it’s quite the indication you’re hooked!!!

It's a frickin mental illness.
I have visions of R7 arrows and ALP siren in my sleep.
I actually kick out my foot and jam on the brakes before waking up with heart racing.LOL.

Congrats on the purchase! Just had mine installed last Monday and tested today. Worked great. Even got to test them on the way, courtesy of FHP, to the meetup.

Good call for sure, it's so nice not to worry about laser like everyone else on the road :)

The increase of enforcement by laser on my commute to work has pushed me over the edge.
Twice a day, every day weekends included they are up and down my route finding new spots to hide.
Someone got a new toy and is having fun being sniper.
That's okay, I can get toys too.

Anyone have any requests for me about firmware version that shows up before I check for latest?
Or do I just update to latest version that it wants to go to?
Wondering if any older firmware might be preferred over the latest and to check to see what I get?

You probably just want to grab latest as mentioned here: https://www.rdforum.org/threads/27384/

I did see a thread about a newer version coming out soon. Might want to watch for that too.

Based on @Jdem experience with the current Fw now allowing DE PT on a previously bullet proof car, I'd avoid the current Fw, but it's your call of course.

It looks like I won't have any choice when initiating the system, instructions allude to update then learn the sensors etc.

Newer FW is out.
A good idea would be to download each version to your computer, date it, then transfer it to the system.

That way if there’s an issue, you can roll back.

I would only change BT module into HiFi module. Much better in many ways.
Easier execution in Hifi, voice announcement of killing the system in HiFi while BT stays silent, you are really not sure BT has killed jamming unless you are looking at the screen to see yellow light flashing, BT connection potential issues just like with any other BT connection.
If you have a chance to change it with Alex, owner from KMPH, change it into HiFi.

+1 on going with Hifi. It's fantastic, and because it's a hardwired connection, you never worry about any sort of lag in alert presentation.
