Any chance V1 Driver and Waze will be integrated to share info on police radar?

The possibilities boggle the mind.

just run one in the background with background notifications turned on
I understand the use of V1 Driver in the background (connected to the V1 rd by bluetooth while Waze runs in the foreground providing GPS guidance with all it's features including reported police. However, those police reports are sightings collected in a database available to all Waze users.

Now, if Waze was integrated with V1 Driver & knew of the all of the threats V1 Driver received from the V1 rd (from many, many users), and added some of those to it's database, they would be available to all Waze drivers. This would increase the reliability of those police reports of Waze. They would actually have a subset that are from V1 rd threats.

Don't you see the added value of the integration. Granted, you get benefit by just running both on the same phone, but magnify that by a lot if they are integrated & the benefit is shared by all Waze users. And those V1 Driver users that are using V1 rd get extra potential benefit beyond what their apps and rd can provide independently.

Right now, they are separated and the driver does the integration, verifying the Waze sightings with ongoing activity with V1 Driver and V1 rd.

It would be so much more powerful in both directions. Increased benefit would be had by all drivers. Basically a Win, Win, Win.

I would love to have it.

Ideas like this have been discussed quite a bit in the past.
There's an issue with automatic reporting and the amount of falses that it would create in Waze. It has been said that an algorithm in Waze will view all the falses as bad information and can affect your ability to report legitimate LEO's.

The amount of moving LEO hits alone would mess up the reports for Waze viewers. It's better to keep them separate and require human intervention since only we know what constitutes a real threat to be reported. :)
