I've had my EX now for about 4 months and have rather enjoyed my time with it. It's made driving more enjoyable around town. Recently though I have been receiving an excess amount of falses while driving. I have it segmented and have attempted the following. Pull from power and given time unplugged, plugged into PC to check for updates, reset to factory and reconfigured. While troubleshooting I went to the middle of nowhere and while there it was cycling through various KA bands and "detecting" them, despite there being miles of woods surrounding me. I'm running out of ideas on what is causing it other then a failing detector.

What kind of vehicle do you drive? You aren't running another detector at the same time, right?

Hyundai Veloster. This this is the only detector and my vehicle doesn't have front radar for cruise control or other vehicle detection

35.757 is quite high. Does this happen while driving in the same location or is it random? If it's randomly happening I would give Escort a call and send it back to the mothership for repair.

It happens any and everywhere. Middle of the woods to the highway.

It's going to need a trip back to Escort to get repaired, then.

Does this happen only when using Escort Live? Does it happen without Escort Live? As others have mentioned, it may have to be serviced.

If you can get through to someone at Escort, I would call them to see if they have any suggestions. Maybe someone on the RDF can provide more insight than I can. Good luck.

My vote, send back for repair. Send along pics like you have of EL showing map of all the hassle you have with the odd false alerts.

Have you made any changes to your car, phones, or whatever? Whwre change timeline lines up with this problem popping up?

maybe your wife put a tracker on your car. Some kind of RF harmonic leak is coming from it. :) sorta just kidding.

I sure hope I don't have a wife at 21 and living with dad. Only thing I've changed recently is a phone, but going back to my barely working old one I still false all the time. It works for about 2 days then goes apewild.

With and without Escort Live unfortunately. Been trying to get through but it's difficult

I'm half tempted to cut my losses and go for an R7 w/ blend mount just so I don't have to deal with another possible failure down the line
