I am a long time Escort user, currently on Max 360 and a Bell STiR. I ordered a redline 360c on Saturday, but changed my mind for now and am trying to cancel it. It appears you can't get through either by email or by phone. I tried twice, and I get "phone ques are full" message with no option to reach anyone. Is this typical for Escort these days? Seems unacceptable to not even let a customer hold on the line to reach a human being.

May I ask why do you want to cancel? They've released some new updates to it
Based upon this link, it looks like it's functioning better then it was on release:

Thanks- I tried 10am EST and 1PT EST, so the phone lines shouldn't be closed.

I am on the fence between Theia and R360C. I was going to go the R360C route since it is what's available today and the latest reviews seem solid, but after sleeping on it, I decided can just keep using my Max 360 for a few more months and make the decision later.

Very typical. I had to use the callback option.

Thanks. I would not have minded a callback option - but the two times I called today, that was not even offered. It just said the queue was full. Maybe they are having some technical issues today.

don't call support service... call order line its much faster... which is option #1

Gave this a shot - got through to sales, but they would not help me or transfer me. But at least "option 2" today offers a call back option - so fingers crossed. There 28 people in the queue ahead of me.

I would just advise patience. They aren't going anywhere, but a product like this is not going to have a call center of hundred to take all the calls at one time.

With firmware 1.3 it really is a great detector, so I would at least try it out first.

I 100% agree with TonyPHX. I bought mine at launch.

PS - TonyPHX it feels like Phoenix here.
That sucks then if it feels as hot as it is here. : ) I am currently shopping for two new four ton AC's. I think this is the last summer my units will be trusted. : ) Let's just say, I can have cold air in the house but it is going to cost me about 45 Theias. lol.

Ive sent 4 emails and called 3-4 times. No luck. Customer service will make or break a company.

Took me multiple attempts before I even got the call back option. Just have to keep trying.

I see comments about our customer service wait times. We apologize for the delays. To be candid, with new product launches and re-opening all services, we are finding higher call volumes. We are currently recruiting additional customer services specialists to help be more responsive to customers. So Just curious, but are they honoring returns still? Their website says they are not taking in returns at this point. Does that mean that the people who are trying to return, will be able to return when they actually start accepting them again? I've tried calling like most the other people, and have obviously not talked with anyone yet. I noticed today, they also said they are not taking in emails anymore either....

I had purchased a Max360c a few weeks before the RL360c. So because I was within the 30 day return window I figured I would return the Max360c and get the RL360c. Because they weren't taking returns or repairs, they made a note on my account.

So now as I was paying my CC bill, I had the charges for both detectors sitting on my account, so last week I called them again and asked when they thought they would open up on the returns, and was told to send it in, but it could take 4-6 weeks to see the refund on my card.

To my surprise, I noticed yesterday (in less than a week), the refund showed up on my card.
