Thanks a lot Vortex!!!
Especially glad you tested in Auto mode and found a huge reduction in K range compared to Highway mode. I will only be running the 360C in Highway mode then!
Yeah the Auto stuff was really surprising. Here, I'll go ahead and put together a compilation video showing Hwy vs Auto.

Update: Max 3 Highway vs. Auto mode video now added to the OP @poolmon and @smokinu454.

What speed were you driving? I'd be interested in highway speeds comparing Auto vs. Highway mode. If you're cruising around at 35mph or so, there's not much need for radar detection in most cases, and thus Auto (as sort of a City / Highway hybrid) is supposed to greatly reduce sensitivity to reduce falses.

His first post indicated that cruise control was set at 35mph. There is a town next to me that has, get this, 20mph streets and they use K band. 96 feet for warning distance is not going to cut it.

Testing and Escorts patent info shows that maximum Auto Mode sensitivity is reached at 70 kph (approx 44mph).
It's still severely range limited on every Escort model from there to infinity.
M3 seems the worst yet.
Without a manual city mode you need auto mode in urban centers, and this range is unacceptable.
Maybe for a mall parking lot, but not city streets.

I've been rewatching the test runs today and I found one or two runs with the RL360c that have a weird ramp-up. I'll mention this in the video and update the OP.

Hey @Vortex , do you find that the R360c does better segmented or all out open? Sorry if this has already been covered.

I haven’t tested that with 1.3. I was gonna, but cut that test for the sake of time.

Late to the party, but I appreciate you posting this video! This is a classic case of the graph not showing the whole story. There's nothing confidence-inspiring about that ramp up on the Max 3, even in Highway mode. In my area, one could easily mistake that K alert presentation for a long-winded false.

Our most successful ramp up ever!
The Batman detector probably would have done better than the Max 3 in Auto mode.

What is that? Looks like a K-band antenna with the cable chopped off? Based on the title I thought maybe someone had gutted an antenna and turned it into some sort of LED lamp.
