I can't make up my mind - V1Gen2 or new RL360C

Currently I am a proud owner of the new v1 gen. 2, but as of lately that the new RL360C has won me over in terms of looks and has similar performance. Is it worth selling to get that unit, or am I better off waiting until the new launch of the most anticipated radar of the year, which is Theia by Radenso?

Just pick whatever your gut tells you and stick with it. Never seen someone go through so many detectors or second guessing 🤣

Man you are indecisive.

Every few weeks you ask lmao

Stick with what you got man. It’s working. It’s doing what it needs to do.
Is there something you wish it did better ?
I am, which is not good. Tbh their is absolutely nothing wrong with it, especially after I had it repaired. However I miss having access to the escort database of when I owned the redline-ex. That's the only thing it is lacking, otherwise I have no complaints with the unit.

With you paying extra over the V1G2 for?

My bad as I don't want to come off as irritating or annoying on this forum. I have bad ADD and get bored easily, so I think that has something to do with me being so indecisive tbh.

Tbh you're right, because at the end of the day my detector is just as capable and is on par. Only appealing thing about the escort redline, is its new oled display and that it has voice alerts, whereas with my detector you have to use the app, which runs through bluetooth audia and sometimes it makes my idrive system crash which can be frustrating at times.

There really isn’t a “best”. There are so many reasons why you very well could personally like one over the other. Just buy what you want and enjoy it.

I get it! The V1 when it was released back in the day had a lot of 1st ! Boggie counter, arrows, never out of date software, great ramp up. Now G2 nothing new just better rang and blind spot? No nothing different still riding the same old thing! Really Mike not even a lcd screen just dummy lights.

Right, although I love the new unit, it just doesn't have that wow factor like the new redline has with all of its new added on features that the v1 g.2 lacks.

Out of the 5 in my signature Redline360c is my #1 pick with the R7 being #2. I've never owned a Valentine as I'm fine with using an app for Escort Live or setting radar settings but don't wanna be 100% committed to having to use an app to get a basic frequency display, lockouts etc...

If the Valentine is doing it's job probably smart to see how Theia pans out then ya can decide between the Redline360c or Theia. If you have money to burn or zero patience like me order it up or you can send me the $850+ and I'll just tell ya the Redline is backordered until Theia comes out. :D

The V1G2 can do more (with an app) than the Redline360c for $250 less. I totally get wanting to try new things, but I think it's a no brainer man ;)

If it was Theia, I'd get being indecisive. But I'd easily say the V1G2 or R7 are significantly better values for the money. It's so awesome that Escort put out a fix for the R360c. It seems to be a good top tier detector now! But it's still a lot more money for comparable performance to the other 2. I know where my extra money would go, and that's stay in my bank account.

Don't bother. Return them all and just wait until the NR DSP is released. You absolutely, under no circumstances, will have the slightest desire to get anything else, rumored or actual, after the NR DSP is released. :)
Fixed it for you ;)

If you just want their database of RLCs, Arial VASCAR locations, & Speed Cameras, you can simply subscribe to the Escort Live Premium service inside of the mobile app for $49/yr and use the app by itself without having to pair it with a RADAR detector. That will give you their database as well as live alerts.

Ham, I have a feeling you're going to end up pulling a @Brainstorm69 and owning every detector under the sun. It's not a bad thing! In fact, it's always helpful to hear from members who have extensive experience running multiple units
