You would think that any company which has been criminally convicted of fraud and bribery would be ineligible to bid on any government contracts for any reason, never mind be receiving a bailout to keep operating. It's just amazing

It's almost like the government is willing to tolerate fraud and bribery as long as the entity involved is bringing in revenue.

There were several companies that received money and had previously been convicted of some type of fraud, loan, tax or otherwise. All of them should have been out of business and fined into oblivion.

Keep in mind it is not the politicians own money - what do they care, its coming from you. All they care about is getting reelected, but now the American taxpayers will be footing the bill for probably the rest of our lives.

What really makes me angry is these companies were close to being bankrupt, and the American taxpayer already funds their normal operations with fines and now this money is provided, which will free up some other funds so they can pay more bribes.
