Hello from the USA. I Currently drive all over the USA for work because of the pandemic instead of flying. I invested in a Uniden R7 (which is pretty awesome) but does not protect against laser. I started getting pinged with laser in Ohio, Louisiana, and Florida, so I purchased a TMG alpha 15
(3 head

system non-VPR). Currently driving a 2020 Mitsubishi outlander (pic attached) Need help with head installation placement. Hope everyone is well and happy driving

@STS-134 has an Outlander as well, he may be able to give suggestions

I think #1 would be your best bet with the TMG

#1 would be where I'd do the first installation and then testing would tell you if you're good or need some adjustments.

My friend - why a non-VPR TMG for Ohio and Florida which both use VPR guns extensively including Dragoneye?

If you can get them tested I would start with locations you don't have to cut anything then go from there. Cut if you need like in option 1 but only after you know option 2 won't cut it. I don't have any so you're ahead of me.

You have a lot of Flat reflective space I would go with #1. I have also found out with my TMGs on my 2015 Ford F150 that I had to put 4 regular in the front with a VPR in the Center and for the Rear I put 4 regular and one VPR in the center. I have not encountered Dragon Eye here in Memphis, but encountered Stalker.

At some point, I'd recommend a VPR system if you visit FL. These LEO's will get you. Between GA and FL, I've seen some of the most ridiculous hiding spots ever. Wolves they are with their Dragons. Just waiting. Be safe out there.

If those are the only choices I'd start with#1 too.

I'm in the @R4D4RUS3R camp on starting with no cutting, and if possible drop the two heads from #1 down a couple of inches into the grill.

As everyone else will say, get tested.
