The alert lit up my v1 before you hear it due to my low speed muting while tuning that corner.

Sorry the v1 is not visible due to my blend mount.

The ramp up at times seems it's gps based. If I speed up just a tad bit during the alert so does the detector alert chirp speed up. If I slow down a inch then the v1 quiets a inch.

Passed speed sign at 2:14 right side then a KA hit after that but I didn't try to find that one.

Alert start visual compared to the video low speed muting. K band is pretty strong on this compared to my escort max 360. Even during the day with more k band sources on this street it still picks up this sign far out.. This video was taken at 2am with very little traffic.

The range on that detection is nuts

Why is the ramp-up all over the place on that? Do you have another detector to run against it and see how it behaves in comparison. It’s a pretty straight shot and while there are a ton of parked vehicles that could be causing some interference, it just seems a bit up and down too much.

I don't think the v1 g2 ramp up is 100% perfect yet as seen in other videos. Compared to the escort redline 360c ramp up the v1 be is more usable and not every alert is like this one. Could be because it's a speed sign but it still got sniffed out very far. I will try to get a day time footage on this road with the trees and cars for a better view on another detector.

It’s a K band speed sign. I have a ton of those in my area and similar street layout and the detection is pretty long and the ramp-up isn’t this bad on my gen 1. Maybe it’s something with the tuning of that and the fact that they decided to use less of a scale (6 instead of 8), so maybe their scaling is off or something in terms of representing strength vs visual/audible warning.

Here is my max 360 on the same sign. It picks up pretty far also then looses it then it picks it back up then the 360 blocks the signal fully itself. I'm more surprise the 360 sniffed it out so far also.

Ay a guess that's more likely to be following the doppler rate
