I would be interested in who is returning there Redline 360c for a replacement or refund and who is going to wait for the firmware update to see if that fixes all the issues. I would think the replacements just might have the same issues (thoughts)

The arrows are a different story ,like others have said there all over the place . i'm Just hoping the next update helpsI’m waiting since I’m doing testing and videos and want to see what the updates do. If it wasn’t for that, given Escort’s track records with Escort, I’d probably return and reevaluate once they have a good update.
Tasman, compared to others on the forum I am likely the least knowledgable. But having driving around with this thing for a while, I want to caution you on Auto. Yes, it is quiet. Too quiet. I am 100% convinced that on Auto in some situations it was not alerting me at all when in the presence of K band. All of the tests I have seen so far have been Ka. I am hoping this warranty exchange works out for you and solves some, most, and hopefully all of the issues......some type of significant improvement before the firmware update occurs.Exchanging, but if the next unit does the same goofy stuff on arrows, then it goes back for refund. I do not need a Honda Detector that coincidentally shows me the wrong direction for radar detection.
And once I get the new unit, I am ok with waiting a few days for a firmware fix, but not going to wait for an undetermined amount of time and miss the 30 day return window. This should have been right at product launch. If these were minor issues, I could see it, but to not even have proper alerting and have arrows pointing the wrong way? This had better be a case of a few bad units. The support person I talked to today assured me that "a limited number of users were reporting issues" and that the replacement would solve my issue.
So ok, I am trying to make this work. There are some good things about this unit that I like. I like the display, the build quality, the alert tones, etc. In general, it is a good external appearance. Just need the unit to perform a little more like the launch day video showed.

I just spoke to them, they are doing returns and replacing "defective " units but no repairs as they are closed and working from their homes.So it looks like they are processing returns despite the fact their website indicates they are temporarily suspended due to Covid?
I assume that they are also taking repairs and trade-in again too? Would be nice if they updated their website to note that change as it might help sales/service.

If many people with R360Cs are reporting these same issues do think its more likely that all their units are defective or the firmware they wrote for it is just garbage?I am still debating this very thing myself. My unit has all the issues that have been reported and if what Escort says is true that it is due to being a defective unit then I may give them a call today. It really is unusable at this point. You can't trust the alerts.
