Just did a search for the Uniden sds200 scanner on my iPhone and found this in the ad results.

I went to the websites home page on a new tab and tried using their search area and nothing would come up scanner related.

This is weird too because this appears to be a women’s fashion site.

Perhaps, it’s a typo and they forgot the 6 and should be $695.00?

I went as far as the checkout as seen in the screenshot.

Figured I’d post if anyone was interested.

Perhaps it’s a scam or just human error?

Probably a scam, some kind of phishing attempt.

Scam. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck..... it's a duck.

This also came up, same thing different description. Sounds like whoever hosts their ecommerce is all sorts of messed up.

It's an error but if you want to try, you can buy pretty much anything Uniden for $95 apparently

Aren't they that big scam network that made the news recently? I heard somewhere of this one group that would just harvest your credit card info and sell to others. Can't remember the name but Simylor rings a bell.

Any good news? Worst case is you tell your credit card company it was a scam and hopefully get reimbursed and a new CC issued.
No clue. Havent checked any updates. Probably a waste of time to check since we all know what to expect....

Hopefully this doesn't result in any Squirrel Impersonators on the loose.
Ha. This went on my "nigerian prince" credit card so not too worried.

What they will typically do is send an empty box to a location in your city, so it appears in tracking as being sent and received, but the shipper won't give the recipient the address from the tracking number. Then they'll use that as evidence during the chargeback. I recommend when you do charge it back to be very specific on the item and all its expected contents, as I've had problems with ccard vendors from this exact same scenario playing out. Hope it worked out for you and you got the refund!

Last year I pulled the trigger on an 8 camera + DVR system on Ebay for $24.99

I knew 100% it would never show up, but I thought, "what if they actually send me something, and what would that thing be?"

Nothing ever came, and both Ebay and PayPal basically told me to get bent.

Ah, well... curiosity paid the crooks.

My company's online order system has a couple of glitches that allow customers to place some crazy requests... Mixed vehicle types along with contradictory pickup and delivery times.

So, you can order a 53 foot car to pick up an envelope, then deliver it yesterday.

I told my boss we should be charging extra for that service.
