    I can't make up my mind - V1Gen2 or new RL360C

Different. The V1 is better for certain things and the R360C is better at certain things, based on the different hardware approaches they take.

I did not get any samples, or info how to pay for the samples.

Lifelong V1 User, very disappointed in the customer experience

Every manufacturer is selling every detector they can get their hands on, with the insanity that is "the current market conditions" he would make more money cancelling your upgrade and selling it at full price to someone else. I think it's a nice gesture he is keeping the upgrade program active...

    Stinger's new antenna on release

That's a reasonable guess, but it just seems an odd choice when the total number of DSP slices in six blackfins is a fraction of what is available in even an entry level FPGA, and you're still limited to sequential instructions on each dsp. You just can't do that much with them. I'd be curious...

    Stinger's new antenna on release

Marketing speak drives me nuts. The product might be amazing, who knows. However: 1. Meaningful DSP isn't done on "6 core processors," which I presume are standard ARM based SoCs like the rest of their products. 2. On other Stinger products, DSP is done in dedicated DSP processors which...

    Stinger's new antenna on release

I'm going to start advertising flux capacitors in Theia and see how many companies I can troll into adding it to their marketing.

We actually get amusement from their comments because they have no clue what we are working on behind the scenes or what is going on in the industry, yet they are so sure of what they are saying. They are kind of the running office jokes.

I appreciate both of your support, let's remember we are on the same side here guys. We all want the same thing, no need to go after each other.

    Look How Far We've Come

One thing I learned during the very beginning of Theia development that I don't see talked of much on here is that the response of most radar detectors is not going to be flat across bands for two reasons: 1. A horn or rf board that is not done perfectly is going to have different responses...

    Any updates on supply chain

Since I moved walking distance from work, now would be a perfect time for me to ditch my practical daily driver Golf R and pick up a 911, but as you pointed out, there are literally no cars available and the used market has gone totally insane. Vroom is offering me almost the new MSRP for my...

Introducing Radenso Theia powered by Rai (Video Links and FAQ on first page)

Not to mention, ordering parts from an unauthorized, overstock Chinese supplier is basically like ordering FPGAs from wish.com and hoping it all works out. It's just not worth it for 200 parts; that isn't even economically feasible to set up a production line for.

    Any updates on supply chain

With the caveat that we are getting into the realm of the ridiculous here, there is one wrinkle you didn't take into account - a lot of FPGAs are used by defense and companies that are designated as essential to national security. So they may not be interested in or may not be able to accept...

    Any updates on supply chain

I love Mid Ohio so much. I really miss being out there. Still chasing my "great white whale" which is a sub 1:40 on the club course. One day when I have time and money I will just cheat-code it with a GT3RS. Of course with that car it'd be closer to 1:30 than 1:40.

    Any updates on supply chain

Me and @Jason at Radenso have done 140-150 in the rain on that speedway, I'm not a NASCAR guy but it is a totally bizarre experience driving on that steep of a banking compared to a normal road course. The transitions from the flat sections to the banking are sketch AF in the rain in a road car...

    Any updates on supply chain

They're not. Escort has 109 Max 360C left on their website and has been out of stock of the 360CI for two months, leading to all-time sales records on our RC M. Every Escort dealer in the country is out of stock of their 360CI due to the Spartan 6 FPGA shortage and we literally are selling...

    Any updates on supply chain

Yes, I am sure if you acquired every company in the supply chain and vertically integrated them you could get FPGAs.

I don't understand why nobody believes me, this is 100% verifiable yourself. I've posted the part number. Call a Xilinx distributor and tell them you want 10k of them ASAP and you're willing to pay 10x retail. They will just calmly look at you like an idiot and explain they don't have the raw...

    newbie question ALP/Redenso

Oh God, this should be screenshotted as "why you should pay more than $400 for an install." They literally used an impact gun and self tapping screws to secure alp sensors to your bumper. These videos are from the dealer the OP is considering. They are worth every penny. They are one of the...

What happened to the active updates?

    1. We have been relatively lucky in terms of our employees and immediate family, but have had some losses in our company's extended family. By this point, almost all of us have had our 2nd vaccine doses and we are finally having more employees at the office. Personally, I think we are feeling...
