Locally purchased Uniden R3 not upgradable!

My thoughts exactly @Mithheru ! I'd rather support someone that is actually proactive and looks after there customers. I'm also more than happy to offer feedback and collaborate in making a better product. Do I contact you directly for upgrades/updates via "[email protected]"??

Locally purchased Uniden R3 not upgradable!

I'd rather pay @Mithheru directly for his time and expertise to upgrade my US version of the R3 than being raped by the local "official" supplier that offer a sub-standand service. Weighing up whether to purchase the TPS-3.0 or the Uniden R3.... using a US version of the R3 looks problematic in New Zealand. How easy is it to convert/update a US R3 for use in New Zealand?
