Mine did the same thing on a previous FW. I was getting close to a stationary locked out speed sign and the unit gave me a quick two beep alert then fades out the locked out signal. Oddly only from one direction..
I'm following a thread on an upcoming R7 update, I saw you there participating. Is there a chance you could mention this idea of a different tone for rear and front detection? It's brilliant and it would eliminate lots of unnecessary glances at the unit when driving.
I tried to participate but...
What I did with my R7 is I applied three double sided 3m strips behind the original suction cup mount and mounted it above my RVM permanently. It's still there since the release of the R7. It holds amazing.
I've also noticed that under 1.29 but....when I reverted back to 1.24 ( factory reset done also ) this issue persisted. At least in my case. I found a few MRCD and K signals repeating themselves even though they were previously marked.
That would be a nice feature to implement.
I've noticed a lot of weird things going on with arrows after 1.29 update. Basically what you've just described. I'm thinking about reverting back to 1.24, arrows were behaving much much better under that FW.
Maybe the reason why the "official" FW...
Is it possible to have some kind of a sound indicator when the arrow switches from front to rear? I don't want VOICE ON just a simple sound indication when the arrow flips. With this option ON you know exactly when you pass a leo without looking at the unit.
I was wondering about the same thing. Maybe they're still trying work out some bugs.
Is it possible to have an audible sound indicator when the arrow switches from front to rear without voice ON?
