    Man, I love my DSP9200BT.

Success story here. Was late to pick up my daughter yesterday from b-ball practice and as I was accelerating from an intersection at night - who knows where my final speed would've ended up as I was on wide-open country road...no one in front of me. As I was accelerating hard, I got the...

Just bought a new Cobra 9200BT for TXCTG testing.

Yeah, probably just weak off axis. I tend to get more falses when I'm directly behind them. The worst part is that it sometimes switches from K to Ka at the tail end of the alert. Not to give anyone the wrong impression. I love the 9200. Range is excellent and false alarms are not that...

Just bought a new Cobra 9200BT for TXCTG testing.

The 9200 has some oddities when it comes to GM's BSM. I gradually passed a newer Cadillac sedan the other day, saw his side mirror light up, yet my detector never went off. Other GM vehicles, usually the SUV's will set it off every time. Not sure why it's inconsistent. Acura MDX/RDX's set...

    Cobra 9200BT-First Impressions

I have owned a Rad450 and a DSP9200BT. I still own the DSP. Sold the 450 on ebay. Range was not as good as the DSP in my testing. The DSP has saved me twice already. That said, after selling the 450, I bought my wife a RAD350 for her travels to and from work. She didn't need the...

Just bought a new Cobra 9200BT for TXCTG testing.

That'd be great. I charged my phone on it once and never got a message saying it was charging slowly like I have have with some old crappy ac usb adapters.

Just bought a new Cobra 9200BT for TXCTG testing.

Oh, okay thanks. I didn't see that little wire sneaking down the rosary..just the thick one heading toward the visor. My kenwood radio has a USB port so I guess I can get a USB splitter and a 10' usb cord to route under the dash, up under the A-pillar plastic and tucked under the headliner.

    Whistler Z-11R ?

I'm running this contraption in my car right now. It's just a stop gap til my 2 cobras I'll be messing with (RAD450 and 9200BT) show up. I got it at walmart for 48 bucks which is way more than this thing is worth. You'd be better off getting a used RD off ebay for 10 bucks than buying this...

Looks good up there! How does one direct wire one of these like that with a USB connection? Thx.
