As it says interested in what sort of distances you guys are covering in a year particularly in south west of WA and how many times you have the mis fortune of coming across the VPS monster a week.Do you think you see them more north or south of the river or they share the pain around...
Xbox your homework on this is to commended. Will be following this thread for sure really hope you suceed on this as currently I believe we are sitting ducks with such a small beam and detection area provided by the LI and then there is the punch through factor
Any updates on your plan of attack the rear facing monster is a nightmare given the size of its beam at the distance it finds you and possibly send you a happy snap would really like to get decent protection myself for the rear but still to be convinced we are on top of these animals
I will be looking for a guy in an old diesel work ute when the V1 goes off for the rear in the mirror with a lidar in his hand and a big smile on his face hopefully anyway and not a poliscan :( dont think I am in your hood anyway being south of the river

Hmmmm Have been running little u for years but do remember somewhere reading I need to go back to A but the thought of X band false ugly!! guessing the spectrum for Ka on little u is too narrow for radars used in WA now eh? Better add some more info to this to clarify it...
Ok did some searching and found that three people have fitted LI to the rear in WA and have proven success it doing the deed
the concensus was that given the angle they are set up at and the range the speed is measured in 45 degree install is needed to tackle these beasts

the V1 against the multinovas and LPP against the guns have served me well for the last four years but the rear facing poliscan takes it to a new level hence the renewed interest in CM but need to know if the LI is up to the job at so close...
