I was traveling around town recently, Waze on, but no destination.
I got caught by TWO speed cameras and Waze did NOT sound any audio alert upon approach of these cameras, despite being visually on the map.
After the second time I was able to circle back around slowly to see if I'd simply...
I'm surprised this hasn't been happening en masse here yet.
IIRC, years ago, when they rolled this out in Maryland, people were putting 22 rounds through some of these things..
They then set up surveillance cameras to watch the pick-pocket-cameras..
Waze doesn't always alert me when there's a speed camera, even though it's on the map.
I don't know why it does that- it should ALWAYS give an audio.banner, alert but it sometimes it just doesn't
Like when there's one speed camera followed half a block away by ANOTHER speed camera.

Like Invisi-shield, TollFree Protector, etc.? (putting aside the issue of getting stopped by a LEO, etc)
2) I don't usually drive very fast on highways so I could never justify the cost of a...
... just to add )since the system won't let me edit again), I do realize the law I posted does not seem to preclude "non-school" days, despite my anecdote about the media releases during Corona by the City..
AFAICT, this is the most current law in effect, and I see nothing even proposed which (as the article claims) would allow an increase to 2000 cameras, or anything other than the 750 we have now...
