    Thanks Uniden - Mac user

Just updated my R7 with the latest firmware using my 2015 MacBook (Big Sur). The new app and driver immediately recognized the R7 was connected. Browse for the bin file, update, and done. Couldn't be more simple. Updated user interface is nice too. Well done Uniden -- it is greatly appreciated!

Introducing Radenso Theia powered by Rai (Video Links and FAQ on first page)

Agreed. The one thing I am most curious about is what third-party apps will be developed for Theia?. Will there be several or only a few? Theia has so much potential, I hope people much smarter than me can take advantage of it and develop some truly useful and unique apps.

Introducing Radenso Theia powered by Rai (Video Links and FAQ on first page)

I truly wish that wasn't sarcasm. :( I know it's not possible to Left-Right locate the source, but how cool would it be if you could? 😎

    Upgrade/Trade-In Program ... Temporarily Halted

When Jon demo'ed Theia at SEMA 2019, he repeatedly stated Theia would be available sometime in 2020. He never specified a month. He never stated, "Two weeks". It is now the end of July. By my calculations Jon has 5 months remaining to release Theia to the public. I don't think it is fair to...

    New Escort videos

Thank goodness for the one parody video; it almost makes me forget about the "In the Wild" video. But alas I cannot forget. Escort knows their new detector does not work. We know that Escort knows it doesn't work because of the obvious intentional edits in the video. So why create the video...

Who is returning / Who is waiting for firmware update?

I suspect the anemic rear horn response is a software/hardware issue. If you can't get the rear horning working then you can't get the arrow flipping correct either. Weird ramp-up behavior points to (I'm guessing) not reading the data buffers correctly and losing the acquired data. In short...

Who is returning / Who is waiting for firmware update?

The Redline360c doesn’t even reliably perform the basic functions of a radar detector. It was clearly not tested prior to Escort releasing it. Yet people seem to have faith Escort will perform the following tasks in a 30 day period (by July 31st): 1) Compile a list of known issues. 2)...

Who is returning / Who is waiting for firmware update?

So Escort is literally violating their own 30 day return policy? Not sure how legally they can prevent a customer from returning their detector and obtaining a refund. I suppose customers could simply dispute the charge on their credit cards. Wow! If true, no way to run a business...

    My Redline 360c problems

And it took Escort over two years to release firmware for the MAX. By then I had given up on Escort and moved on to a different radar detector. Not sure why people seem to think the Redline360 will be 'fixed' anytime soon. Escort's track record isn't exactly stellar in this regard.

Redline 360c's poor ramp-up and arrow flipping

What bothers me is when Escort released the Redline360c; were they aware of all these issues or weren’t they? If they weren’t aware then it is indicative of sub-standard business practices. A flawed design coupled with minimal testing. To be blunt all of the issues were readily found; none of...

Escort Redline 360c ordering and tracking (**Poll Added**).

I bought into the marketing hype for the original MAX for $549.95 in 2013: "In addition to providing lightning fast response, the PASSPORT Max also looks for a signature or the DNA of the signal and sorts out the real threats from a myriad of other signals with precision. The result is a quiet...
