@NoahWL said it first! It seems that the detector is pointed to the sky.
If you draw a line from the detector to 500m ahead of you, it will still be on the road? Microwaves propagate LOS (line of sight).
This is why, on long range wifi 2.4GHz, or on sattelite TV dishes too, it matters a great...
The above archive had only speedcams. This one attached here has redlights and speedcams. You have a lot of redlights in Czech!
The speedcams only database is about 4KB and speedcams with redlights is about 16KB.
In Poland.txt from 12.2019 there are 763 locations. Some of them are no longer in use maybe.
You can also mark the locations manually in the detector for the unknown cameras when you arrive at them.
Also there it is Mittheru database, wich may be more accurate and actual.
The database file is a multiple of 4096 bytes. If the useful data is only 1000 bytes, the rest must be completed with waste data bytes up to 4096 boundary.
In this particular case (Poland database), there was no increase in file size because the added data replaced some waste bytes from the...
I attached here the "Poland everything" Uniden database and the original Igo from 12.2019 database.
"speedcam" and "section speed cam" from the original Igo file = speedcams for Uniden
"redlight" from the original Igo file = redlight for Uniden
For all the above you will get an alert when...
In the above archive (wich can be downloaded from the net if you search the archive name) there are all the camera types you mention:
- section speed
Because I wanted more countries in my final R3 database when I would need it, I choosed to write only the speedcam to the...
Poland was converted from Europe_SCDB_15.12.2019.rar
Later database versions are in .spc format (not .txt like this one).
I tested the Romania version and it is working super ok (I get sound alert only if I am over the speed limit, otherwise the alert is only shown on the screen).
@Mithheru has a database with directional warnings. My database will alert when you approach from any direction and is from year 2019. He has some minor problems with GPS coordonates he didn't knew he has but I will slowly open its eyes :) :) :) about them!
Also what I built for you does not...
Hey @djkeczap load the Poland database and drive near a speed camera. If the original data is good (speedcam data is from year 2019), you should get an alert :)
Do not forget to enable Speed Camera alerts in the menu.
When I tested, my R3 alerted me exactly from the speed limit in the file...

You are struggling with the GPS coords because they are Simple Precision Floating Points (4 bytes) and not Double Precision Floating Points (8 bytes).
In any programming language, the norm is to use the Double Precision Floats but in this particular...
