One would be like a full digital and the other a hybrid.
Just like a digital detector doesn’t get much faster when segmenting Ka band… and another that isn’t fully digital gets a performance boost.
Tbe digital detector can be quieter, but at the expense of processing which in turn cuts the...
It's like a parking ticket in a way.
The fine goes to the registered owner.. just like a parking ticket would. There's no way to blame someone else.
Your the registered owner, your plates, your responsible for who ever borrowed your car at the time. It's up to you to collect from who ever was...
Maybe this will help. Intesection#2 is less confusing. 1:50 in
There's only one camera there. The new style.
MRCD On About 1:50 in
Hopefully that clears up your confusion. Redflex isn't modulated.. so a detector that doesn't have MRCD/MRCT/Gatso capabilities can still detect it...
I should clarify.
If it is Redflex... turning off MRCD will not stop you from seeing the Redflex systems.
Talking to a few engineer's that have been here collecting data explained to me that part of the modulation detection had to do with timing... or delays.
Not all of it... but they...
Agree. The newer database is a good idea.
The FW? depends. If you face any of the modulated radars.... I think I'd roll to anything below 1.40 (1.37) on the R7 or 1.54 on the R3.
Then again.. I'm in the most extreme CM environment that not many face.... as of yet.
Guess it's time to see...
Could be a lot of things.
Multiple K band alerts can do it
Redflex will show up as MRCD/MRCT... But if you turn MRCD off.. I'll continue showing you the same frequencies as K band. Pay attention to the frequencies you see when you get the MRCD alert.. then turn off MRCD and see if those same...
Not on the forums really. Customer service might be your best bet.
We use to have some manufacture representation... but there a few members that just can't help themselves and make any sort of useful interaction worth their time. Those people would rather not have the manufacture's here I...
If your not running your phone and using Escort live..... you will not see the posted speed limits.
If you do not run Escort Live... No posted speed limits.
If you do not allow Escort live to use the location services of your phone... you will not see and posted speed limits.
Paying for the subscription makes no difference on the posted speed limit function. My R-EX is 4 years old. The app is free. The speed display will show up even if I use a detector that's not mine. I've never updated my R-EX subscription and it works the same. I just get the Big Red Box around...
Don't worry about the subscription thing too much IMHO. I'm not an app guy myself. I find it more of a distraction personally.
Settings.. I do enjoy. The rest, I rather not.
So I'm back. Took out a few Escort products with me.
R-EX, M360C, R360C, Max3
All 3 were giving me the same types...
No problem. It'll take me a few minutes.
I just plugged the Max360C on the bench. See the OSP notification on the left. The GPS speed of the detector on the right.
Once the M360C got close to the phone, and I initiated the Escort live app... I'm seeing the double dash (--) in a white box where...
Are you referring to the:
Display of the app
Display on the Detector itself?
Display on the detector when connected to Escort Live?
As far as I know... when your Subscription expires, it doesn't allow for defender database updates when using "Detector Tools Pro"
When connected to the Escort...
