Does VR still have a 30 days no questions asked return policy?

Not that I'm planning on returning mine (I'm not, although it does need the front laser sensor fixed once all this CV stuff is over with), but I tried searching the new website, and couldn't find anything on the topic. Is there something somewhere I'm just missing? If so, anyone have a link? If not, does anyone have at least something verbal from VR confirming it? I know I was just assuming it was the case with the V1G2 because everyone always said it was the case with V1G1. Thanks in advance.

Nothing in the quick guide. Maybe check the back few pages of the on-line owners manual.

I did do a quick search of the manual re "return," and only found two references that were related to warranty and repairs. But I didn't scour it thoroughly.

I just scanned the website quickly and I could not see the guaranty anymore. However, I think they still are honoring a 30 day no questions asked return policy.

It was definitively on their updated website before the coronavirus delay. . . . .thought about the 30-day test & return if not satisfied, now it's not listed?

They told me on the phone last week that the 30 day policy is still there. Just for the unit cost. No refund for shipping to you or back. The magazine ads I got a week ago still show that policy although they do show the old unit.

That seems fair.

FYI AmEx Return Protection has generally been willing to credit me for shipping differences when the manufacturer refuses to compensate for original or return shipping.

I think for a small business in particular, shipping costs are nontrivial and it's understandable why they don't cover them, but as a customer I really would rather have that full confidence that it costs me $0 if I'm not happy with the product. I don't return 95%+ of the things I buy, but I would say around 50% of them were bought simply because I trusted the return policy and ended up liking the product. Overall you're losing out on having me as a customer by making it difficult to return things.

I checked for something on their website even before the coronavirus and I could never find anything about their return policy. I’m going to be returning mine because the rear antennas are not working properly. Hopefully they open back up on April 7th because I don’t know how they’re going to handle the return policy with being closed for two weeks now and I’ll be right at my 30 day window.

Send them an email now with your proposed plans so you can document when the clock starts.
