Hoping you guys can help me figure out what is going on or what I’m doing wrong with my new ALP system. I have my profiles loaded in via USB and the voice packs/latest firmware.

I am using an iPhone with the latest iOS. When I connect to ALP connect in the app it turns off my HiFi controller lights as it should. I try to check system info and I just see this:

I can hear the Bluetooth box or something making an audible clicking sound every time the app connects and disconnects.

Is there anything I am overlooking that would stop this from working properly?

Thank you

I have had to power cycle my unit to fix the issue and/or close out the app at times as well. Times it does it two or three times, during a month, but usually a power cycle addresses for me.

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the ALPConnect app?

I will keep trying, I have made multiple short trips and power cycled it 4-5 times so far with no luck.

Yes, I deleted it and re-installed and put the pin in one time. That didn’t fix the issue.

I haven’t tried this one yet, will give it a shot.
If the problem continues, make sure you have the latest App and software, if you haven't checked that. Also, phone... was it recently updated? And the last time it worked with no issues?

Not sure if this affects anything but did you remove the USB stick from the ALP module after the updates and profiles were loaded?

Latest version of iOS, iPhone XS. No problems with watch connection, music or V1Driver. I’ve power cycled my phone, I will see how it behaves tomorrow.

Yes, I tried with it in and removed. I know there is a function to save to USB that’s why I tried both ways.

Power cycled the phone and tried it. Still the same disconnecting and reconnecting.

I will try my GFs Galaxy S10 tomorrow and see if that behaves the same.

Galaxy S10 behaves the same way. Connects then disconnects over and over.

maybe it is the BT hardware issue. What version of the ALP BT unit do you have V1 or V2?

Installer probably connected wires in the wrong ports. When BT module connects it disconnects the wired controller but if controller and cpu are in the opposite ports when the BT tries to connect it will disconnect the CPU.

Would the HiFi controller still work properly if they were in the wrong ports?

Do I just need to switch the two?

Thank you

Yes, Hifi will work fine because when BT is not connected the ports just pass through. Switch wires on the BT module and see if you can now connect.
