If that was you in the red charger the other day on I-20 westbound between Atlanta and Birmingham, east of Anniston, AL, I apologize. But you were being an ass.

I was on my way home after testifying in a Federal trial in Atlanta. No, I was only a witness. Anyway, at this point there are two lanes going westbound. As is the usual case a truck is trying to past another truck going uphill. He doesn’t make it and the left-hand lane gets backed up. Finally, the truck he’s trying to pass, passes him on the right and my truck which is holding up traffic moves over behind the other truck. Now both lanes are jammed and it takes a while for the traffic in the left-hand lane to get moving. Well here comes the Dodge Charger up my butt. We are going nowhere fast. The conga line is slowing passing the line of trucks and cars in the right lane. A guess Mr. Charger is pissed (as I am too), but he gets on my butt a few feet away from bumper and just rides it. I don’t take too kindly to this and I begin to play games with him. I now slow down, still enough to pass vehicles on the right, but no longer keeping up with traffic in front me. He doesn’t back off so I continue to slow down ever so gently. I can see the steam coming out of his ears. We probably play this game for about 60 to 90 seconds. Finally, he backs off, I wave to him and speed up and pass all the vehicles in the right lane, and then, only then, do I pull over to the right. Sorry, I thought I was going to apologize by the time I finished writing this but Mr. Charger, you’re still a jackass.

Don't ya just luv those peeps. Like driving one foot from your rear bumper is going to speed up the conga line. "But I gota get in front of you". NO....it wasn't me.

It is crazy how people think that with several cars ahead, that riding the back runner will push, especially when there is no out for that back driver is that right lane is blocked. I may only push when the gap gets big between that conga line between that Driver and the one in front of them.

I really have gotten tired of the Full Size truck driver and raised ones. I own a Nissan Frontier Pickup.... sucks its a 4 banger, and some point when it dies, it will be converted. Getting back to my issue, they like to ride my rear, like they be the "big dog" attitude. One day was coming up to a Red light in the Right lane with cars in front of me at the Light already. Light is green as I am still approaching at 35 in 55, and the front cars are accelerating to 55 with maybe 10 cars lengths in front of me. I start to increase speed maintaining that cushion/gap, and that Full Size Driver starts to get ticked at me and raises his hand in disgust. I put both my hands up like what with full hands presented to rear driver, and I give double flicked off. No reason for this aggression. I need to get a rear Camera on this. Last driver did similar, I pointed out my front CAM and other actions (fake Call), and that driver turned into a normal driver. Scared that driver.

When I drive with my other car, I dont have these issues. @Kennyc56 knows I am not a slow driver :holy:

I freaking hate when those big rigs sit beside each other. There's a bunch of a--hats that drive trucks. The other day, we had to merge into one lane due to construction. This truck was hangout out in the right lane to keep people from passing and merging. He was waiting until the last second to pull in and the rig that was hanging back decided to screw him over and shot up blocking him. That guy was pissed blowing that air horn.

I have a front dash cam but not a rear. I was too cheap to get both. Oh well, live and learn.

Yeah - that is so annoying. Karma will catch up with him.

I remember once being boxed in with 10 cars in front of me. We were doing PSL +10 and a 'Vette was hanging about 3 feet off my bumper. It's not like any of us could go any faster or get out of the way. I swear I didn't purposely clip that tire retread in my lane. It went over my roof and landed right on his hood. He looked pretty shaken up and backed off. I hope he learned something.

I learned to watch out for debris in my lane.

That is when the downshift is key - no brake lights - you can almost see them poop their pants and stay back after that.

Or they rear-end you and you spend the next week dealing with body shops and insurance companies.

While I TOTALLY agree in theory with what everyone is saying, I'm just going to remind you all that it takes TWO to have a road rage incident. At the end of the day, as satisfying as it is, is it really worth risking getting in an accident with a douchebag? Or even worse, having said douchebag do something really stupid like pull a gun?

There are just too many crazy people out there for me to chance it anymore.

I had a pistol pointed at me thru the window when I was driving down I-15 in Utah County.
