Apparently Trooper Covid here didn’t get the memo that all close personal contact is supposed to be avoided right now. Here he is with his 33.8 blasting away, blatantly attempting to initiate traffic stops.

Wonder how fast you need to be to get the pull over. I have seen no stops in the last week, maybe just luck but it has been much lighter than normal. I hardly hear a beep lately either.

Theres nothing social about a LEO, hence no distancing from them to us. Just preying via traffic stops/enforcement.

lol, Trooper Covid. :D

I’ve been seeing some troopers running radar too and it’s very surprising. I wonder if you can cough and keep them from coming to your window. :p

Also, looks like your polarizer needs to be realigned back onto your DR900S.

Noticing with less cars on the road now here in NY, people are speeding way over psl. Not seeing any enforcement on hiways in Long Island patroled by Ka NYS Troopers. As a side note....less cars and I see why bsm testing is so difficult. My Redline EX is dead silent unlike usual. It's working because of a local 'your speed is' sign sets it off.

I have been making great time going to and from work. I love it! Still have the usual enforcement though locally.

Not that you of all people are likely to get pulled over...

That’s the old polarizer from my DR650, with the wider angle of the DR900 it doesn’t quite fit. I’ll have to get a proper one

My brother in NYC says they are out as usual. He has a R3 and he says the Ka hits keep coming on NYC hiways. Interesting. The big urban areas are on alert. Out here ...in suburban NY... literally no speed enforcement noted. I am not complaining!

I just got back from the grocery store and on my way there, there was highway patrol sitting there with Ka radar on. I mean when there's a lot less cars on the road I would imagine they're not going to enforce it quite as much, but not by a lot.

I've been zooming out on JBV1/CSA alerts in my area--they are still working. Plus, I encountered a zealous one shooting I/O 34.7 in rural central Oregon. Twice in the same spot across an afternoon. At least he didn't move around.

Enforcement has ramped up significantly since all the roads became a ghost town. What's up with that?!

Heard on the local news this am that now you're supposed to place your license on the dashboard where the NYSP can read it through the glass if pulled over. WTF?

Once the apocalypse has subsided, I expect that speed enforcement will become fanatical in an attempt to make up lost gov't revenues.

Well, after typing earlier I have not seen much, I got a quick chirp on my R7. No more than 2-3 notes. Mile or so up, the trooper was just getting out of his SUV with someone pulled over so he was running I/O after I just said its been quiet. Nothing was even showing on Waze, good thing for detection. I was +20 with all the open road.

More likelihood of a really big fish swimming by, therefore more fun for the LEO?
