What's new in this release?

* Updated settings screens with new icons, auto scroll to top on app bar tap (like alert log), and search
* App bar icons on alert log screens for easier navigation to top 100s and histogram
* Alerts for a day screen shows frequency deltas
* Map scale display in center of alert map on user interaction
* Option to auto hide V1 settings when alert map is full screen (auto reveals on map taps and auto profile override changes)
* Option to auto snooze alerts identified as Honda BSM (let me know how it goes)
* New Spot color map for HR heat map, shows only hottest spots
* Tap "JBV1" image on main splash screen for one-touch access to settings
* Access to Standalone options no longer hidden by default (but remain buried in Connection settings)
* Bug fixes
* 26 Feb 2020 camera database

Always great work.

Is there any way to move the standalone button to the main screen? Call me lazy for not wanting to press two buttons!

Thanks for all the changes. By the way, I really like the addition of icons and the text changes for the Settings screens. A nice, clean, uncluttered look.

:happyanim: Another fantastic update!

What's new in this release?

I'm liking the new icons and menu cleanup. (I wasn't seeing a problem before, but it's a nice improvement!) Search will be a really handy function!

* App bar icons on alert log screens for easier navigation to top 100s and histogram
Nice.

* Alerts for a day screen shows frequency deltas
Interesting! I'll have to look at those more!

* Map scale display in center of alert map on user interaction
That's handy!

* Option to auto hide V1 settings when alert map is full screen (auto reveals on map taps and auto profile override changes)
This is something that I've been a little slow to embrace in the past with the buttons that auto-hide.
I do like the cleaner look, and the V1 settings definitely are a bit too much at times, so I will try it out with a 15-second hiding delay.
Do the settings pop up on auto-profile changes?
Would you consider as an option a partial status that shows only the chosen profile and sweep set all the time at the bottom but hides the detected settings after a delay?

* Option to auto snooze alerts identified as Honda BSM (let me know how it goes)
Looking forward to testing this out!

* New Spot color map for HR heat map, shows only hottest spots
Nice!

* Tap "JBV1" image on main splash screen for one-touch access to settings
Nice!

* Access to Standalone options no longer hidden by default (but remain buried in Connection settings)
* Bug fixes

:)

I have a request that's really minor. Is it possible to shorten the state names in Reverse Geocoding to their two digit versions? (I'm not sure if that's data that is already out there or not.) I keep the city and county visible along with the state (so that I know quickly where I'm at as I travel unknown places) and there's often too much information to display it all so it truncates the county name. Worse for states like North and South Carolina. :p

Also, I was testing my TMG heads the other day and it seemed that the siren sound is now less than 1 second. I'm thinking that's because I was under the speed threshhold I've set. Is that what is happening? If so, great! It will help me to know if I need to press my Receive_Only button.

Do you have any wifi or bluetooth triggers that can be used to autostart standalone mode? That's how I do it in my Wife's car.

Settings > Connection > Standalone > Connect Starts Standalone (enable)

@Bloovy One

The settings reappear on profile overrides. In next update, they will also appear on V1 mode changes initiated with V1 control knob, and I'll add an option to keep the active profile/sweeps names.

I'll look into the siren alert, and map state names to abbreviations.

I am not fond of the map scale in the middle of display.

Also, is there a reason there is a 5 mile scale limit? I feel congested. I would like at least double the view ahead.

I run an older version of waze so I can have a 10-15 mile view ahead for a visual heads up and enforcement trend. I absolutely hate the new Escort Live app with the short distance view and the newer waze is the same because if you zoom out you loose the LEO visual symbol.

So... Is there a reason you can't expand the scale of view?

I am not complaining, thanks for the greatness, just asking .

I meant to make the map scale optional when I added it, but I forgot to add the setting. It'll be in the next update. I'll also add some longer map range settings.
