The largest radar detector company in the world has a name literally synonymous with "prostitute." We don't want a recognizable name as that sucks for SEO. To my point, google Escort and you won't get radar detectors. Once we make our Theia page go live we should have no problem ranking #1 on Google, which frankly is literally all that matters whether or not anyone can pronounce it.

Theia will be fine. Our traffic stats are outstanding for it already (searches outstripping Pro M results).

Radenso Theia / Rai FAQ:

Q: When is it going to be released?
A: Answer as of 1/23/2020: Sometime in 2020. Theia is still under development so even we don't have a exact date or time frame yet. If you would like to signup to our Theia mailing list, click this link: https://radenso.com/products/radenso-theia

Q: How much will the Radenso Theia be?
A: Since we are still developing Theia hardware we don't know the price at this time.

Q: What is the difference between Radenso Theia and Rai?
A: Radenso Theia is the next windshield police radar detector coming from Radenso. Rai (Radenso AI) is the artificial intelligence software platform that will be used in the Radenso Theia.

Q: What hardware can you tell us Theia will have?
A: 1.5 GHz quad core processor, Spartan 7 FPGA, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB flash storage, GPS 10hz chip, dual horn radar antenna to provide arrows, OLED display, headphone jack, bluetooth, wifi, USB-C connection, metal case

Q: Will I be able to use a RJ11 jack with Theia?
A: Unfortunately no, to power Theia a USB-C connection is required. RJ11 is a old outdated cable and cannot handle the power that Radenso Theia will need. A RJ11 adapter will not be possible because of this.

Q: Will Radenso Theia be immune to radar detector detectors such as Spectre Elite?
A: Since Radenso Theia hardware is still in development we are not 100% certain yet but of course that is what we want.

Q: Will Radenso release a hidden / remote radar detector with the Rai platform?
A: Absolutely but it will be awhile since we first we need to develop and release Radenso Theia (windshield detector).

Q: Will Radenso Theia running a operating system?
A: Yes! Radenso Theia will be running a Linux OS and we will have a open API for developers.

Q: Will Radenso Theia detect laser? What about ALP integration?
A: Yes, Radenso Theia will detect laser. We would love to have ALP integration, that is still something we are working on.

Q: What range will Radenso Theia have?
A: We believe it will have the highest range of any windshield and hidden/remote radar detector on the market but we can't provide exact data yet as Theia is still in development.
Q: Will Theai kill your alternator?
A: ?

The major advantage that Theia has over other detectors is zero false alerts. I don't think that radar manufacturers really care about that so much that they would develop something radical.
Zero alerts because, as I have read, they train their forthcoming detector, and keep training it, on police radar guns.

But, isn't 24.150 GHz from a Honda just the same as 24.150 GHz from a police radar gun?

Situational awareness helps us, for example, two sources, one Honda ... where's the other source, cop? Nope, there's an Acura over there ....

On the other hand, Radenso sales must be off a bit as everyone hangs about to wait for the new product ... so there is incentive to bring this detector to market sooner.

Your looking at it wrong.
Each signal has a distinct finger print from the components it uses.

Even if the frequency is the same... it looks different to Theia and RAI. It’s not using frequencies to identify what’s real and what’s not.

Think of it this way. Dogs and cats. 4 paws. Tail. 2 ears, forward facing eyes...... but you can tell at a glance which is which. Size, color or breed.... doesn’t matter

If I took my Bushnell and adjusted the frequency to match a Honda's BSM, RAI would still see it as a Bushnell.

That’s as easy as I can make it.

24.150 perfect sin waves are identical to each other. However, that's not what really happens. What antenna produces which harmonics? Does the frequency wobble? When? By how much? Do the other harmonics wobble the same way? Is it a perfect sin wave, or is there some square-wave elements?

I don't know the details of their setup, and I don't have any idea which "features" are treated as classification data, but I heavily suspect you could teach a computer to tell the difference between different antenna shapes (via harmonics, at least) sufficiently to tell most cop radar guns apart from BSM systems.

How Theia works was explained somewhere, if I could only remember. Where was that? Where was that? Oh, that's right, the SEMA videos.

If I ever want to search for something in 'that' company when I am at the office, I have to log into my home system. Otherwise my search will be stopped by security!

Jon, you do KNOW that even after this excellent complete question and answer session that some moron will continue to ask more questions that have zero relevance to what stage you're currently at. Oh, and while you're at it, can you tell us when the new V1 is coming out??

Gheesh.................

It is using QAM to do this.

What does it do? Look at pattern of frequency?

No offense. Did you watch any of the videos, starting with the SEMA ones? Vortex interviewed their tech genius who explained, pretty much, how it works.

Somewhere in cyberspace.
I actually DID just Google, "Escort Cincinnati".
How will Radenso compete with THIS?
(Sorry, pic will not post to forum)

Perhaps Escort knows that majority of us (RD users in general) are men and that explains unusual SEO... :)

You should go back and watch all of Radenso’s and Votex’s videos from SEMA.
Then read the sticky on Theia.
That’ll help you catch up.

I really have just got bits and pieces of them. Going to have slow down and sit still for little bit.
