^ Like I said, night vid sucks.
Could be worse, but is it in English and formatted for US usage. lol
Dude, what do you have against non US products? You realize the LI's aren't made here either right? Plus the Blackvue is in English and formatted for US use. I don't get what's so difficult to understand about that. Just b/c one member couldn't figure it out, doesn't mean the product sucks.

I have nothing against non US built products, sometimes they are just a better product, its the support and being able to use it. Blackvue is better than almost all dash cams i have seen on youtube, but if i cant figure it out and have no US resources/support its a waist to me.

I may just end up getting one, but I will need some major support from our members who have one if they are willing and very patient. :(

Sick of here...
Very nice setup I drool...

Laser jamming is useless for me since I'm in and out of IL a lot especially lately... but I do feel I need more CM's...

Thanks for the semi Hardwire on live... that will come in handy if I get the redline... excellent information there.

CJ, you're scaring yourself for no reason. It really isn't that hard to setup. Actually, its very simple. And for ME to say its simple, its gotta be simple! There are many of us who are willing to help if you can't figure it out.

I may just get one then. I also greatly appreciate the offer, but I may need a lot of help if it isn't as easy as taking out the SD card and downloading to YouTube.

If you were to put rear LIs on this car where would you put them? Would mounting in the license plate, depression we'll call it, be enough with the bubbles out? Also you seen the new TLs.. no spot to mount front OR rears lol.

I would mount the rear LI's angled out ever so slightly to the left and right of the plate just below the aluminum lip bubbles out.

Ya the new TL's are so un-stealthy. I would rather put another 10k into my TL than buy the new body style.

Yeah I like the rear but the front of the new TLs look terrible. Never mind the fact that installing jammers would be nasty on those.

Ya I am not really a fan of the new TL's, that aluminum grill is a huge mirror. Our body style also has special stealth capability's. On time Radarrob and I tested shooting my car a few times with no jammers and it was ~1000ft PT.

The grill is painted silver plastic. Not alum.

So, CJR, is that cassette adapter to play audio alerts from EscortLive? By the way, nice install, just wondering how well that ZR4 rear head will perform. The ZR3 was crap.

Yes, the cassette adapter is to play audio alerts from Escort Live/Waze and Slacker Radio through my system.

I had a nice ZR4 rear save a few months back: https://www.rdforum.org/showthread.php?t=7889&highlight=zr4+rear+save

Just the single ZR4/3 in the rear doesn't do much but let you know you have been shot, but in some scenarios it will save you from going faster or give you that split second extra to slow.

ZR4/3's dont test well, but they certainly seem to do okay in the real world. I had a nice save the other day where my off axis ZR4's alerted me to scatter from a car I was passing on the right.

Nice response. I would view that thread, but I'm not yet Intermediate member. Waiting for my application (sent 2-3 days ago) to be reviewed. Can't wait!

By the way, is that Droid Bionic stationary/perm installed just for Live? I noticed another smartphone below it.

Bionic (Now Razr Maxx) on window mount that can be removed. The one below is a more permanent mount of my iPod.

Oh okay. Have you considered having bluetooth implemented at a dealer into your existing stereo system? That way Live + music can stream wirelessly. Not that it would really make a difference as it's not in the way and just be more of a waste of money... but would make things even more slick.

I have thought about it, a hard wire would be my preference though. Just haven't had time or extra $$ to plan it out.
