Hello Gents,

I am trying to find the best option for mounting my ALP with my current push bar. I'm pretty sure the best option would be directly mounting it to the bar. If someone could point me in the right direction!

Which configuration of heads are you doing?

You'll probably have no choice but to mount the heads to the bars, unobstructed. Otherwise against the more difficult guns you may get reflections back into the heads from the bars, causing PT's.

I would start with RX's in red, the TX could go in either blue spot. Just make sure that the RX heads are within about 24 inches of everything, they cover about a 24 inch radius for receving so as long as you don't have much sticking out farther than 24inch from an RX head it should be covered. Are you doing anything on the back? in GA rear shots are pretty common especially over on the western side of the state. get tested once setup to make sure you are solid on dragoneye as it's used in GA.

Awesome appreciate it. That gives me a nice start. Yes I have 2 RX heads for the back. I was given a suggestion to mount them under the bumper.

Standard for the rear is on the step or in the void between the step and tailgate. a Tx is highly recommended for the rear of a pickup truck. Below the bumper would be way too low.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I've seen a lot of them mounted on the step

If you mount the RX heads next to the braces for the bush bar, the RX heads should protrude just a bit so it’s unobstructed to the sides as well.
if your close and they shoot the headlights or fog lights, the RX heads need to see the halo around the center point of the Lidar beam.

Ok so here is a side view look of the brace.

So your saying it needs to come out a little past the brace?
