This may seem off-topic;
If I may ask, why did you choose to use YaV1?

Although YaV1 still works, the development is very slow currently while the current developer is working on other projects, etc. Generically, I'd say that not much has changed with YaV1 for around 1.5 to 2 years. No offense meant at all to the developers. :)

This does not directly answer your issue, but depending on your answer as to why you chose YaV1, it might not matter. :)

We will try to get you sorted out regardless of what your response is. :)

I do wonder if you still have Valentine's app running in the background maybe.

Chose, yavi one because it seemed like that's what everybody was using. And there is a lot more on the internet about. Setting it up. . Although I just found that jbv1 May seem like a more up-to-date app. . Do you know if this is the better app to use? Is there a lot of information on how to set it up since I'm kind of a newbie to all of this? Basically, just looking to get rid of all the false alerts by toll booths. And quiet the radar down a little bit without losing the effectiveness of it. . I have tried running yav1. With and without running the original app in the background.

Only one app can be connected at a time. Be sure the Valentine app isn't running and that the blue light on the dongle is flashing before trying to connect with YaV1.

Again, I mean no disrespect to YaV1 or it's developers but I also know that the current developer is busy with other stuff.

I used YaV1 for roughly 2 years before trying out JBV1. I have used something else for the last two years. :) I will stop there out of respect for the YaV1 section. :)

@Vortex, This might be one of those "old information" things we briefly discussed in another thread. It sounds like zadam123 might have intentionally purchased the V1C (Android-only device) to use with YaV1. Perhaps that older video could use an update in the notes or something?
