I've been looking around trying to find one of the 3m mounts that you often can pick up on ebay (or anywhere) for the magnet mount on the 360c but I'm coming up empty. I saw a post from Vortex some time ago about how to make one of your own. Is this our only option at this point other than using the suction cup?

Thanks for ideas

Here is the most recent thread I am aware of. Uncertain as to why there are not more options out there, doesn’t look to be to challenging to make (Unless I am missing something), and use the OEM magnet.

Good luck!

I looked for one a while back and came up empty as well. As mentioned above there are members who have made their own and a few short lived ones on e-bay here and there. Best of luck, if you find something special let us know!

I purchased two permanent mounts for the 360c, Redline EX, etc on bonanza from China. You have to reuse the magnet from the mount.

They should be arriving any day, week, or month...I’ll gladly sell you one after they arrive and I confirm that the mount is usable.

* update: Order placed on 1-8, expected delivery 1-30 !

I bought the sicky mount above. It sucks and the detector sags. The best thing I have found is a 3d printed one on thingverse. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2248307

It sucks less... You still need to use a belt of some sort to stop the detector from giggling. I just have a little suction cup and velcro tie.

If you dont have a printer I will mail you one of the brackets if you pay the shipping..... remember ... it sucks LESS.. I am not selling it. If you don't like it when you get it tough.

Thanks for the offer! I may try to make one up myself using an existing magnet and see where I get. If unable, I'll PM you to try it out.

Why not use a Blendmout on the rear view mirror? That's my set-up, or you don't want it on the rear view mirror?

I didn't know there was a blend mount for the mag mount, but I don't want it hanging below the RVM. I had a detector there once...too obvious and in the way. I prefer something above the RVM.
