Kansas Highway Patrol posted these LEO flight statistics on their Twitter page for the year 2019. Cite:
In the category of Ariel VASCAR / Patrol, they conducted a total of 52 flights, operating a cumulative sum of 96.7 flight hours.

The other categories likely are of little interest to most drivers on here. Vehicle Pursuit flight hours... you've got to be really dumb to become the subject of one of those flights :D

Very interesting! As someone who commutes between KS and MO often, i would love to see Missouri’s numbers. It probably would be 5 times the number.

I need to start following the KS planes to see where they routinely go.

Surprised they don’t employ drones for the job. With a tether you can get plenty of height with pretty much unlimited run time. Not that I want to give anyone ideas.

I can only imagine what Florida flight time would be... I have seen them log 9 hours in one day before across a couple tail numbers doing vascar so I bet they pass the 100 hour mark.
