@Andrew21 back at it again, this is the third car he has installed an ALP system for me. I really enjoy his knowledge and work.

Brief History (dramatic):
1. Got car in September 2019

2. Andrew Installed front Tx/Rx’s and cpu

3. Andrew then installs rear Tx + Rx’s

4. A week later a drunk driver rear ends my car while I was parked, costing me nearly 8k in damages. He also hit another vehicle, fleas the scene immediately after the collisions and was subsequently pulled over by NYPD detectives who arrested an con who was out on probation and is now back in incarceration.

5. Within 48 hours, I wanted to bring the car to a body shop so that they could start the repairs. I needed the rear sensors (which miraculously survived the bludgeoning impact) removed before the shop would snip the wires when removing the trunk. Within 24 hours of my accident, Andrew came to my house and removed the sensors for me on a weekday late at night (heroic).

6. 4 weeks later (yes the repair-shop took forever) i get my car back, which has now been in the shop for the same length of time as ive actually driven it.

7. I have to go to on an emergency trip to Canada, so I call Andrew and within a week we setup another time where he does my rear install again for the second time.

And as always JTG/JFG DETC. Special thanks to @PY004 to help with testing!

Fantastic! Having an Acura as well I am focused on your install. My MDX grill is different, I have the 2016, but wonder if you could tell me more about how you’re keeping the sensors in place. Makes me wish I had the 2017 since it has the same basic grill you have. Happy to hear everything worked out to get your car back again.

The MDX grill has slots available for the RX sensors where it sits in the slot. Put a bit of sugru on them and it will sit in the honeycomb grill very nicely.

I dont want to make this about me so I will just say thank you. I wish one other person had one setup already that tested well that I could copy. This is the closest I have seen so far and I have to say, I should have considered the TLX, its a sweet looking car and setup nicely.
