Yes, you are set to 'novice' not 'advanced' under your settings - change it over and you will have you normal alerts back.

I can say I have not. Hopes it’s within its warranty period.

Like said above it's set to novice if your wondering about the , "slow down" message instead of a band displaying or frequency.

I think the display is okay, but it's just the way cameras captures the oled screens on our radar detectors.

If the screen actually looks like that then yes it would need service.

That's just Escort's new way of alerting you to upcoming hazards and/or object markings! It was included in their most recent firmware. /s

Did you ever adjust your setting back from novice to advanced? Just wanted to make sure everything is back to normal.

It would be nice if the OP would tell us what he was actually asking about. The alert or the lines across the screen? I'm thinking it was the later, but nobody knows for sure.

He hasn't returned either to let us know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Those lines are just an 'illusion' - my guess is that image was a screen shot from a video file (refreshrate/frequency differences). I'm sure you have seen it on video's posted here from testing and other stuff. It can even be captured by a photo as well a video depending on shutter speed etc.

Yeah, I know that possible, too. That's why it would be nice to hear from @MSM .
