So I was driving today from Nashville to Jackson and on mile marker 122ish I saw a cop checking the other side of the highway but his left side window was down, so it intrigued me and when I came closer, I could see he was tagging cars after they had passed him. I know some cars who speed back up after passing a cop, so I think he was taking advantage of that because how he was aiming the gun, he was aiming towards the top of the next hill. Clever HP I guess. Really need to get some jammers soon, hopefully I'll be able to by the end of this year.

I thought seeing lidar was pretty rare in TN, let alone rear lidar! Looks like members in TN may need to reconsider getting jammers despite the ban.

Common sense not to speed while in view of a LEO after that go warp speed but with care. Seen second units waiting right after the first one for that reason.

Yea there were two more units just after the next hill, I'm assuming chase units

In this case what’s the likelihood he was shooting at incoming cars and you got some scatter that triggered the ALP?
Yeah, that is possible, and what I thought at first, but zooming in on the led, I also think it's possible he targeted me. You can see me passing cars at a pretty good clip, so he may have just wanted to check and see if I had the hammer down.

It seems if he was getting reflections from traffic on the other side, his alert would have been from the front, right? I think @RaggedEdge is right. The trooper thinks he would catch him taking off after, what he thought, was out of range.

I get hit with Stalker almost ever time I go to Nashville or Chattanooga. They love doing overpass front or rear shoots out on TN 153 between Shallowford and TN 58 toward the Dam. On the other side of the Dam, they like the cloverleaf at Hixson Pike. I have seen both Hamilton County and THP running Lidar.

I was either on the phone with RaggedEdge or Benzr when I was hit from the rear with Stalker passing the Lovell Field exit.

They didn’t ban LJs because they were only going to use Radar!

Fortunately, I haven’t noticed any Tennessee State Troopers using Lidar/Laser in Western Tennessee, but mile marker 122 or so on I-40 is definitely getting close to where I travel a lot in the western part of the state. I have noticed Lidar/Laser used in the eastern part of Tennessee when I occasionally travel through that area.

I also travel some in Middle Tennessee so I will definitely stay more vigilant. Thank you for sharing this information. I don’t have laser jammers, so this is good information to have.

You run around West Tennessee (Memphis) without jammers? You're a braver man than me. Lol

I only saw 1 day of laser on the highway, standard setup front shots. Mostly I saw it in the cities. In fact almost every sunday they were out around town. East TN Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol.

They are always there especially in the morning and afternoon, they have never changed tactics for 2 years that I have been noticing them. All black Tahoe's which are scarier at night. I would just mark that location as sometimes I have almost forgotten and accidentally shot passed them doing 90+, but I think they were on Netflix at that time.

So Stalker guns are showing up in Tennessee now? All I have seen are PL3's and have yet to see THP use any Lidar yet...just 34.7 IO.
Stalkers are all over TN. Both THP and locals. PL3/4s are very popular also.

Those guys are a special drug enforcement task force. I-40 is a major drug corridor.

That is probably why I didn't get pulled over. Makes sense since every time I see them pull people over they are in the car searching it. Thanks
