Oh, I don’t even know how the hell did you fit a front plate on that car haha, it actually looks really good with no front plate.
Thanks yeah, it came with a mount that fits on there. I don't know where it was from though. Dead center.

In Maryland having no front plate is a $70 ticket. I already received 2 of those tickets because they couldn’t get me for speeding or tints. I know a lot of people who don’t run front plates and run those plate covers on the rear to where you can read the license plate.

That’s pretty cheap for a ticket, what’s the fine for installing a plate cover?

It up to the police Officer. They could give you a warning, a $70 ticket or a repair over.

Question: are any states known for giving citations to out-of-state cars that don’t run a front plate?

I’ve always assumed that running w/o one makes you a bit more of a target - why piss off a constituent with a ticket when you can give one to someone from another state, right? But I don’t think a LEO is charged with enforcing laws from another state. In other words, I don’t think a WISP officer can give a MN resident a ticket for violating MN’s front plate requirement.

So, back to my original question - any US locations known for issuing no-front-plate citations to people from other states?

I legitimately believe that is never even a tiny portion of any considerations when it comes to roadside revenue collection.
I feel like your chances of being let off with a warning go from 5% to 0%.

I had a va cop give me a 90 ticket for my dark tint. My car had MD tags.

Also dc parking enforcement has given me 5 no front plate ticket when I have MD tags. If you look on other automobile message boards you will see others complain about dc parking enforcement giving no front tag tickets to cars that are registered in another state that requires 2 plates.

20% and every window beside the front windshield
20% as in blocking 20% of sunlight or as in allowing 20% of sunlight in?

Tint is measured in visible light pass through. 20% tint means 20% of visible light passes. Law in Texas is 25% I think.
Oh gotcha, it’s measured differently where I’m from that’s why I kinda got confused a little, 20% here means that the tint is going to block 20% of sunlight which is not worth it if you’re gonna get a $90 ticket for almost no tints

Allowing 20% sunlight in.
Oh nice, do you have your front windshield tinted?

That’s interesting, Is there a way to get a legal reflective tint?
Generally yes. Depends on the state and which windows you want reflective. I would recommend against it, though. There’s no real advantage to it, and it makes your car much more noticeable.
