Same dimension as G1 and G2 heads. Lens may change in final production.

I believe Jag has stated before that they will both receive and transmit, in contrast to the TX.
Transmit only. No heads will disable.

I want to place my three head TMG system on the Raptor. @Jag42, Shoul I place them as normal recommendations up front? Then add the VPR head someplace else on the front? Or wait to install until I trade in the new CPU and add the VPR head? Or, will the placement up front all change?

I need to know. I want to install next week. Or, should I wait? I don’t want to go back and reconfigure locations of heads whej adding the VPR head(s).

thanks.

... corrected your post ......

Hey @Jag42 ..... hook me up so that we (@VariableWave , @Kennyc56 & I) can do some testing!!!!
I'd just need two VPR Heads, one long cable & the new CPU.
I'm very happy with my setup! I'm going to get my rear heads next and test and drive with that for a while! @VariableWave and I are working on a plan for mounting them. It will be awhile before I change CPU's and try the new heads.

The VPR head will replace the third head in the center.

@Jag42, Can you please provide us with an official statement about the TMG VPR head patent, and if it infringes any existing patents?
Thanks

MOD NOTE: The earlier infraction for this post has been evaluated by staff and removed. Please keep things friendly and in good spirit. Thanks.

my V1 is now a desktop ornament
Id say that there isnt infringement based on the fact that the software is different, as well as the number of diodes and overall form factor.

My bet is that TMG concluded that a higher power transmit only head was a solution through their own testing. ALP had concluded the same thing through their own testing.

TMG VPR does not shut down any heads, and so it is different on the software front.

If i recall correctly, stinger had the transmit only head before ALP (i might be mistaken on time frame) So the TX idea is not a new one imo.

Full Disclosure: I run ALP on my current car atm.
