About the 30 second mark. Dunno' what it was, but driving down the same route this morning, there was what looked like a large rubber tire chock sitting on the shoulder, so it might've been that. We just raised our comprehensive deductible, so I'm presuming I'll be paying for all of it. The pisser is that I'll have to spend another whole Saturday installing my TMG parking sensors in the new grill.
Maybe I'll put together a How-To while I'm ripping and tearing and Sugru-ing.

Sorry that happened. I think your assessment of it being a tire chock is correct.

Definitely a big chunk of rubber/plastic (slowed down the vid to .25 speed) That really sucks man... good thing it was ONLY the grill. Time to cut new holes for the TMGs

Damn. Sorry to see that. Are you going with 3 heads again?

Condolences from your neighbor in Eugene.

Wow, the odds. Bounced from your lane far to the right then gets kicked back by other vehicles right into you. Bad day! Could have been worse though if it hit the glass!

Thanks for the condolences. Yeah, gonna' go with the 3 again. JTG against my old Ultralyte Compact and ProLite+ and fairly inconspicuous, so my plan is to duplicate the current setup. Every piece of plastic on the front of the car is busted, plus a dent on the lip of the hood that's JUST big enough to need replacement so as not to drive me nuts every time I see it. ARGH!

Sorry to see it. Is it just the grill, or is the edge of your hood also involved?

The hood just above the hole is dented about 1/8" deep and about 3/4" wide. Just enough that if I don't fix it it'll drive me nuts.

I thought it looked like it was affected. Again, sorry to hear it.

Thanks. Yeah, suckage, but at least it’s fixable. If that’s the worst thing that happens to me this week, I guess I’m doing OK.
