From here on, I will make a very quick measurement of performance of ALP and TMG and other jammers if I can do validate that the firmware update has not introduced any serious easy to discover bugs. Most runs are either single or averaged. These values on here should not be used to determine the performance of the jammer itself in relation to other jammers. Values here are strictly to measure progression or regression of fw versions. They're all different cars so they're not comparable to each other!

When new FW versions are released, I will try to measure the performance as soon as possible and report it here. All values are rounded to nearest 10.

Placeholder until TPX Automobile version comes out. I don't have a motorcycle to test on and testing on a vehicle results in very inconsistent results.

@PY004 did you mean to post this in a different section?

Great Idea! I will clarify on all points.

ALP HW2
TMG G1 (or G2 depends on who comes to help me with it, but everything on the list so far is G1)

It would be good to test a G2, they seemed to be a little more solid on DE (might be a figment of my imagination) than the G1's might be worth showing which installs you are testing as well as the install can make a big difference as you know, i'm sure the installs are pretty optimal but it would be good to see them or at least know which model of vehicle was used. just want to make sure it's fair comparison if they are different installs on vastly different vehicles so people can take that into account as they look at the data.

This is entirely for making sure new FW does not introduce any unintended bugs. Not intended to compare performance between each other or other jammers.

That being said I don't have access to any G2 at the moment nor do I plan to obtain them. They're just too minor of a change. I'll just wait for the VPR to test.

I don't see a section for ALP 2RX and 1 TX.
Haven't been tested yet.

Might be good to have another column for other types of regressions. A ton of the regressions with ALP have been on things like boot failures in FCM equipped cars, not properly resetting after jamming, and there was even an older one where the system would actually jam when it was supposed to be in detect only mode.

Thanks for doing this! I always like to test my setup every time I do an update as well. But this is super helpful :)

I will denote it separately for those cases. This is just a quick validation test so i doubt I will find much of those bugs unless it's a really obvious bug.

So that's the TSS issue you were referring to with TMG...

I know this isn't any sort of formal test, but it is nice to see. Especially how the TMG did seem to make good progress throughout firmware versions on the Stalker. It's not a perfect system yet by any means, but there is progress shown between firmware versions, even if it's only on one gun. That effort is a positive, to me at least.

They made improvements in other fronts as well. But DET algo for the guns that they do support has improved quite a bit since when it first came out.

Also I just noticed I screwed up with the table while copying it from excel. Stalker New is supposed to be Stalker Old and the value that was in there for Stalker old is supposed to be for the TSLR. Entry has been fixed.
