I am using a S8+ as my dedicated JBV1 app... while running Daze on other phone... I have noticed lately that when I power on JBV1... that I'm zoomed out further than I like... I use the landscape mode to view JBV1... I pinch out the phone screen to zoom in... to see the different street names and it seems to go back to being zoomed out again while driving and when restarting app... is there a way to keep my screen zoomed in to the setting I prefer.... thanks?

Doesn't map coverage depend on CSA/mark settings?

You can set a minimum forward range in display > alert map settings, but that won't stop it from zooming out automatically with higher speed and alerts. The map is there primarily for showing alert locations, not as a navigation aid, but I may add some additional auto zoom options for more user control.

yeah I prefer being zoomed in... in the city... then zoom out on highway... I think Daze has the option to shut off zooming feature for traveled speed

What about centering? If I move the map can I do something to re-center quickly?

You have to wait 15 seconds after last manual move. I've been thinking about making that adjustable, and I probably will. I'll also add a means to do it on demand.

A simple small target button, like on waze, that you can touch to re-center would be great. The auto re-center is fine at its current setting. With the button I don't thing there would be a need for various timing adjustments.
